Overview
BaidaJUSHI LY-TB3043 TABER Multifunctional Wear resistance Tester is suitable for wear resistance test of leather, fabric, Coating, paper, floor tiles, plywood, Glass, natural rubber and other materials. The specimen is cut with a standard cutter, and the specified type of abrasive wheels is used and a certain load is applied for abrasion. After reaching the specified number of revolutions, observe the condition of the specimen or calculate the weight difference. The calculation formula of abrasion index is: abrasion loss weight/test number of revolutions × 1000.
Features
1. Adopt swirl/spin friction method, surface contact form
2. Provide 250g, 500g, 750g three friction load options
3. Rotation speed of the working plate is adjustable, support 60, 70 rpm or specified Rotation speed
4. Electronic display 6-digit counter, automatic shutdown function
5. Equipped with 1 set of H18 and H22 abrasive wheels and 1 pack of yarn paper
6. The weight of the whole machine is about 17kg, and the size is compact (410 * 285 * 290mm)
Principle
The test machine cuts the specimen with an outer diameter of 108mm and an inner diameter of 8mm through a standard cutter, and uses the specified type of abrasive wheels to swirl/spin abrasion the specimen under the set load. When the preset number of revolutions is reached, the machine will automatically stop, and the wear resistance performance will be evaluated by observing the post-grinding condition of the specimen or calculating the weight difference before and after the test. The abrasion index is calculated according to the formula.
Applications
Leather, Fabric, Coatings, Paper, Floor Tiles, Plywood, Glass, Natural Rubber
Steps
1. Use a standard cutter to cut the specimen
2. Choose the right abrasive wheels (such as H18)
3. Set the friction load (250g, 500g or 750g)
4. Rotation speed and test speed
5. Start the test, the machine automatically runs to the set number of revolutions and then stops
6. Take out the specimen to observe the condition or calculate the weight difference
7. Calculate abrasion index according to formula
Notice
• Make sure the power supply is AC220V 50HZ
• Specimen size should meet the specifications of outer diameter 108mm and inner diameter 8mm
• Select the appropriate abrasive wheels type and load according to the test material
• Make sure the counter is set correctly before the test
• Regularly check abrasive wheels abrasion and replace them in time
