Overview
JINGKELIAN ZND-1 Zain Viscometer is an outflow type Viscometer with a long handle. According to the diameter of the outflow hole, it is divided into five models: No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5. It is suitable for the measurement of the viscosity value of Coating paints in different viscosity ranges. The viscosity value of the measurement is "conditional viscosity". The Viscometer can be used in workshops, laboratories, etc., with faster inspection and adjustment of the viscosity of a variety of different fluids. The shape of the cup body is round, made of stainless steel, and a variety of flow nozzles with precision drilling can be used to measure liquids with a variety of viscosity ranges.
Features
1. Made of stainless steel, strong durability
2. Various nozzle designs for precision drilling, allowing measurement of various viscosity ranges
3. Suitable for workshops, laboratories and other occasions
4. Quick inspection and adjustment of fluid viscosity
5. Divided into No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 five models to meet different measurement needs
Principle
The Zahn Cup was originally designed for the rapid evaluation of viscosity and conformity of products conforming to or close to conforming to Newtonian mechanical properties, providing a high degree of Accuracy and repeatability depending on the mass produced. In its early form, although somewhat simple in design, today's viscosity cups are produced according to many international standards developed over the years to specify not only the precise dimensional tolerances required in the process, but also their use and recording of the data obtained.
Applications
Coatings, paints and other fluid viscosity measurement
Standards
ASTM816、ASTM1084
Steps
1. Select the appropriate ZND-1 Zain Viscometer (please check the outflow time)
2. Ensure that the ZND-1 Zain Viscometer and test fluid are at the required experimental temperature
3. Ensure that there are no bubbles and debris in the fluid
4. Sealing the outflow hole (by hand), fill it with fluid, and cut off the excess part with a paddle
5. Release your hand from the outflow hole and start the timer until the first breakpoint of the fluid appears. The time calculated is the viscosity time corresponding to the test fluid
6. Fixed Flow rate test method: The procedure is similar to Article 5, but the stop timing time should be when 50ml of fluid is discharged
Notice
• In order to ensure accurate measurement results, it is recommended to buy at least 1 standard Zahn Cup with calibrated certificate
• Draw a calibration chart by comparing the results of the measurement ZND-1 Zain Viscometer with the standard product sample of the standard viscosity cup measurement product, so that the outflow time can be corrected by the chart to get the correct test result
• Zahn Cups have short channel lengths (i.e. cup wall material), so any change in the channel will have a significant impact on the outflow time
• Clean the viscosity cup needs to be cleaned with a suitable fine brush and solvent. Do not use other cleaning methods and cleaning tools that will cause scratches.
