Principle
The methane detector adopts the principle of catalytic combustion detection, and detects the gas concentration by the diffusion Sampling method. When the methane gas diffuses to the Sensor, the signal changes under the action of catalytic combustion, which is processed by the MCU chip and converted into electrical signal output.

Steps
1. Install the detector in a suitable position to ensure that the Sampling method is diffusion type;
2. Power Supply DC24V (12V~ 30V);
3. Connect the Output signal cable as required (three-core Shielding cable for 4~ 20mA, four-core cable for RS485);
4. Set the alarm value, zero adjustment, calibrating and other parameters through the remote control free opening lid;
5. Start the detector and observe the LCDTFT display to confirm normal operation.
6. Connect external alarm devices or systems as required.
Notice
• Working ambient temperature range is -20~ 50 ℃, Humidity range is 10-95% RH (no condensation);
• Sensor life is 2 to 3 years, depending on the Operating Environment;
• When the connection cable distance exceeds 1000 meters, the diameter of a single wire needs to be ≥ 1.5mm, and the Shielding layer needs to be connected to the earth;
• The explosion-proof form is that the Probe transmitter and Sensor are both explosion-proof, and it is necessary to ensure that the installation meets the explosion-proof requirements;
• Alarm settings support conventional high and low alarms and interval control alarms, which can be configured according to actual needs;
• Optional Accessories such as Power Adapters, converters, etc. need to be additionally configured according to system requirements.
