Overview
The contact angle tester is a surface performance testing instrument for the measurement of liquid-to-solid contact angles. The Deute JY-PHA model can measure contact angles, forward angles, backward angles, rolling angles, surface energy, wetting performance and other indicators through the acquisition and analysis of image contours. It has high cost performance and comprehensive functions to meet the needs of conventional and some unconventional measurement.
Features
1. Use the seat drop method to measure the static contact angle
2. measurement of dynamic contact angle including rolling angle, forward angle, backward angle
3. Real-time monitoring of contact angle and surface energy changes and generation of Linear dispersion analysis maps
4. Support powder, non-planar materials, superhydrophobic, superhydrophilic material measurement
5. Calculate solid surface energy, dispersion force, polar force, non-polar force, electron receptor, electron donor
6. Calculate adhesion work, moisture invasion work, spreading coefficient
Principle
The contact angle measuring instrument consists of five parts: hardware drive system, manual liquid inlet system, sample stage, image acquisition and software analysis system. The hardware drive system provides instrument operation support, the accuracy of the manual liquid inlet system reaches 0.1 μL, the three-dimensional sample stage realizes precise positioning and turning method testing, and SONY high-speed industrial-grade chip collects images. The software system has a variety of fitting methods and powerful database support.
Applications
Medical, chemical, surface preparation, Glass manufacturing, screens, lenses, semiconductors, electronic circuits, paint inks, biological sciences, Spinning & weaving fibers, university materials research and analysis
Steps
1. Connect the power supply and USB camera.
2. Place the sample on the sample stage and adjust the level
3. Select the appropriate needle for manual drip
4. Adjust Illuminant and Image Clarity
5. Measuring methods and parameters through software selection
6. Capture images and analyze them automatically
7. View and store test results
Notice
• Power supply voltage 220V/50-60HZ before use
• Travel restrictions when moving the sample stage
• Keep the needle clean to avoid contamination when dripping
• Avoid looking directly at the LED when adjusting the Illuminant
• Regularly check the level status of the sample stage
Be aware of database capacity limitations when storing test data
