Overview
The cigarette paper Air Permeability tester (model: YD-TQD-B) adopts new technology and cooperates with general test methods to test the Air Permeability of paper used in the Tobacco industry (such as cigarette paper, tipping paper, striped paper, etc.). The instrument is controlled by a single-chip microcomputer and realizes fully automated operation. Its test method meets the requirements of various methods such as Shauber, Bentsen and Gurley. It is an instrument for paper Air Permeability testing in the domestic paper, Encasement and cigarette industries.

Principle
The instrument is designed based on the principle of differential pressure method. The pre-treated sample is placed between the upper and lower measurement surfaces to form a constant pressure difference on both sides of the sample. Under the action of the pressure difference, the gas flows from the high voltage side through the sample to the low pressure side. According to the area, pressure difference and flow rate of the sample, the Air Permeability of the sample is calculated.

Steps
1. Pre-treat the sample.
2. Place the processed sample between the upper and lower measurement surfaces of the instrument.
3. Set or automatically create a constant test pressure differential through the instrument.
4. The instrument automatically measures gas flow and other parameters.
5. The instrument automatically calculates and displays the Air Permeability results of the sample.
6. Data can be recorded, processed, or printed out by the instrument.
Notice
• Sensors at the core of the instrument need to be calibrated regularly to ensure the accuracy and traceability of test results.
• Before testing, ensure that the specimen has been pretreated as required.
• According to the Air Permeability range of the tested paper, reasonably set the test pressure difference to obtain the best measurement effect.
• Note that the power requirements are AC 220V +/- 22V, 50Hz.
