Overview
The MUT100S is a digital ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD) instrument with a lightweight and portable body. It uses a 640 × 480 digital true-color LCD screen, supports luminance adjustment and multiple Color schemes, and can clearly display defect waveforms under different rays of light. Built-in high-frequency processor, with intelligent analysis capabilities, low-power design and large-capacity battery can achieve long standby. The instrument provides a variety of communication interfaces, supports multi-language operation, and achieves IP65 Protection Rating, which is suitable for defect detection and security evaluation in many industrial fields.

9. Wide detection range (0-10000mm), wide frequency band (0.2-20 MHz).
Principle
The instrument works based on the principle of ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD). It emits high-frequency ultrasonic pulses into the material to be inspected through Probe, and reflection occurs when the ultrasonic wave encounters defects or material interfaces. The instrument receives these echo signals and conducts high-speed acquisition and intelligent analysis by the built-in high-frequency processor. Finally, the results are clearly displayed on the screen in the form of waveforms (A scans) or images (B scans), thus enabling the positioning, evaluation and recording of internal defects in the material.
Applications
Petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, shipbuilding, aviation, railway
Steps
1. Connect the Probe to the instrument.
2. Turn it on and set parameters such as sound speed and detection range according to the detection material.
3. Use standard test block calibrating instrument.
4. Couple the Probe to the surface of the workpiece under test for scanning.
5. Observe the waveform or B-scan image displayed on the screen to identify and evaluate defects.
6. Save or record inspection data.
7. After the test is completed, turn off the instrument.
Notice
• Please read the Operation Manual carefully before use.
• Ensure that the Probe is well coupled to the workpiece surface.
• Set the instrument parameters correctly according to the inspected material.
• Regularly use standard block calibrating instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Avoid strong impacts or prolonged exposure to extreme environments.
• Please use the matching charger when charging.
• Although the instrument has an IP65 Protection Rating, it is still recommended to avoid prolonged immersion in water or contact with corrosive liquids.
