Overview
MMP-100 Portable Magnetic Yoke Flaw Detector is a professional precision instrument based on the modified design of traditional Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment. It is small in size, light in weight, safe and reliable. It can be directly connected to AC power supply, and can also be equipped with AC or DC magnetization power supply. It takes into account both AC and DC flaw detection applications. It solves the drawback of relying on a fixed 220V power supply. It is especially suitable for working environments such as hull welds, high-altitude structural welds and Pressure Vessel interiors. It is widely used in electric power, metallurgy, petrochemical, machinery and other industries to detect magnetic particles on the surface of ferromagnetic materials of various steel structures, boilers, Pressure Vessel, pressure pipeline and welded structures.
Features
1. According to the magnetic interaction between the leakage magnetic field and the magnetic particles, the shape, location, size and severity of the defect can be visually displayed, and the nature of the defect can be determined.
2. Three power supply modes can be freely selected: single AC power supply, AC magnetization power supply, and DC magnetization power supply.
3. The yoke spacing is adjustable (0~ 230mm) to meet different inspection requirements and has a wide range of applications.
4. Integrated design, compact structure, reasonable layout, small size, light weight, easy to carry.
5. Equipped with a special fanny pack, it can carry magnetization power supply, magnetic suspension, and contrast agent, making it portable and efficient.
Principle
The MMP-100 Portable Yoke Flaw detector is an improved design based on the traditional Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment. It works according to the principle of magnetic interaction between the leakage magnetic field and the magnetic particles. When the ferromagnetic material has defects, the magnetic field lines will be distorted to produce the leakage magnetic field, and the adsorption magnetic particles will visually display the defects. The instrument can be directly connected to the AC power supply, or it can be used with AC or DC magnetization power supply, taking into account the two magnetization methods of AC and DC.
