MMP-200D Portable Yoke Flaw detector is a professional precision instrument based on the modified design of traditional Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment. It is small in size, light in weight, safe and reliable, and can be directly connected to AC power supply. It can also be equipped with AC or DC magnetization power supply. It takes into account both AC and DC flaw detection applications and solves the dependence on fixed 220V power supply. Principle
The MMP-200D Portable Yoke Flaw Detector is an improved design based on the traditional Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment. It generates a magnetic field in a ferromagnetic material through a yoke. When there is a defect on or near the surface of the material, a magnetic leakage field is formed. Based on the magnetic interaction between the magnetic leakage field and the magnetic particles, the magnetic particles will gather at the defect, thereby visually showing the shape, location, size and severity of the defect, which in turn helps to determine the nature of the defect.
