Overview
MT-1XA digital Portable swirl/spin magnetic field Flaw detector is a nondestructive testing equipment based on the principle of magnetic particle adsorption. It comes standard with a cross-type magnetic yoke Probe and four-legged rollers, which can realize continuous multi-directional flaw detection, and is powered by a large-capacity lithium battery, getting rid of the dependence on 220V power supply. The instrument has a built-in industrial high definition camera, which can record the detection results in real time, and output reports through the PC to make quality control more traceable. It is widely used in welds, pipes, boilers and other workpiece surface inspections.

Principle
The instrument is based on the principle of leakage magnetic field adsorption magnetic particles for flaw detection. When there is a defect in the workpiece, a leakage magnetic field will be generated at the defect, adsorption of the applied magnetic particles, and the defect will be judged by observing the density distribution of the magnetic particles. The instrument generates a swirl/spin magnetic field through a crossed magnetic yoke, and cooperates with a four-legged roller to achieve continuous scanning. It is observed and recorded by a built-in camera and a high definition display screen.

Steps
1. Check the power of the instrument to ensure that the battery is sufficient.
2. Select the white light or fluorescent lighting mode according to the detection environment, and adjust the luminance.
3. Place the cross yoke Probe on the surface of the workpiece to be inspected and continuously scan it through four-legged rollers.
4. Observe the surface condition of the workpiece and the magnetic trace of the defect in real time through a 3.5-inch color LCD screen.
5. Use the built-in high definition camera to take pictures and record the defects or key parts found.
6. After the flaw detection is completed, connect to the PC through the USB interface and use the supporting software to export the data and analysis reports.
7. Charge the instrument for next use.
Notice
Before use, make sure the battery is charged and check whether the components of the instrument are firmly connected.
• Select the appropriate Illuminant (white or fluorescent) according to the detection environment (such as darkroom or bright-field).
• The yoke Probe generates a magnetic field when it works, so be careful to keep away from items and equipment that are sensitive to magnetic fields.
• Continuous Operating Time of the instrument is long, but it is recommended to charge it in time when it is close to the nominal working time (≥ 5 hours).
• Please use the matching charger (220V, 50Hz) when charging, and ensure the safety of the charging environment.
• The instrument has a built-in precision camera and display screen, please avoid violent impact or fall.
When exporting data, please ensure that the supporting management software has been installed on the PC to ensure that the report is generated normally.
• Instruments and accessories should be stored in a drying, clean environment.
