Overview
MT-1XYA portable integrated swirl/spin magnetic field Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment is a product of MITECH based on the improved design of traditional Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment. It integrates AC magnetization power supply into the cross-type magnetic yoke, with compact structure, small size, light weight, good sealing and insulation. It integrates magnetic detection, power supply and lighting, and can realize multi-directional flaw detection. The large-capacity lithium battery pack can be disassembled and replaced independently, and the sealing plug can reduce cable failures. It can work continuously for more than 6 hours in long standby. It is especially suitable for field work without power supply and high-altitude work, and realizes the innovation of integrated magnetic particle detection.

Principle
The instrument generates a swirl/spin magnetic field in a crossed-type yoke Probe through a built-in AC magnetization power supply. When the yoke contacts a ferromagnetic workpiece, the intelligence system automatically starts to form magnetization on and near the surface of the workpiece. If there is a defect, a leakage magnetic field will be generated at the defect, and the applied magnetic particles (dry powder or magnetic suspension) will be adsorbed, thus showing the profile of the defect. The instrument integrates white light and ultraviolet light sources, which can be used for the observation of ordinary magnetic particles and fluorescent magnetic particles respectively.
Applications
It is suitable for field flaw detection without power supply, aerial work flaw detection, surface and near-surface defect detection of ferromagnetic material workpieces
Steps
1. According to the workpiece condition, use the foot adjustment tool to adjust the yoke spacing.
2. Select the white light or fluorescent lighting mode as required.
3. Contact the instrument yoke Probe with the surface of the workpiece to be inspected, and the instrument intelligently recognizes and automatically starts magnetization.
4. Apply dry magnetic particles or magnetic suspension to the magnetized area.
5. Observe the magnetic marks formed by the accumulation of magnetic particles and judge the defects.
6. After the inspection is completed, the Probe is removed from the workpiece and the magnetization is automatically stopped.
Notice
• Please ensure that the battery is fully charged before use.
• When wet inspection, please pay attention to the sealing of the instrument to avoid leakage.
When adjusting the yoke spacing, use the special tool provided.
Do not use in a strong electromagnetic interference environment, so as not to affect the detection accuracy.
• Please use the designated 21V/2A charging power supply for instrument charging.
• When not in use for a long time, it is recommended to perform regular charging and discharging maintenance on the battery.
• Follow relevant safety regulations during operation to avoid mechanical damage to the workpiece caused by the yoke.
