Overview
MT-1XY series portable integrated swirl/spin magnetic field Flaw detector is an improved design product based on traditional Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment. It integrates AC magnetization power supply inside the cross-type magnetic yoke, with compact structure, small size, light weight, good sealing effect, strong insulation performance, safety and reliability. It integrates magnetic detection, power supply, lighting and other functions, and can easily realize multi-directional flaw detection. The large-capacity lithium battery pack can be disassembled and assembled independently, and the on-site flexible replacement, the sealing plug can effectively reduce the failure rate and accessory loss caused by the cable, and the long standby can work continuously for more than 6 hours, which is especially suitable for field field flaw detection without power supply and high-altitude work.

Principle
The instrument generates a swirl/spin magnetic field in the crossed yoke Probe through a built-in AC magnetization power supply. When the yoke contacts a ferromagnetic workpiece, the intelligence system automatically starts magnetization, forming magnetic lines of force on and near the surface of the workpiece. If there is a defect, the magnetic lines of force will be distorted and form a leakage magnetic field, resulting in the adsorption of applied magnetic particles (dry powder or magnetic suspension), showing traces of defects under visible or ultraviolet light (fluorescent flaw detection).

Steps
1. According to the workpiece condition, use the foot adjustment tool to adjust the yoke spacing.
2. Select the white light or fluorescent lighting mode as required.
3. Contact the instrument yoke Probe with the surface of the workpiece to be inspected, and the instrument intelligently recognizes and automatically starts magnetization.
4. Spray dry magnetic particles or magnetic suspension in the magnetized area.
5. Observe the magnetic particle aggregation and check the defect display under the corresponding Illuminant (white light or ultraviolet light).
6. After the test is completed, remove the Probe from the workpiece and the magnetization will automatically stop.
7. Clean up the residual magnetic particles on the surface of the workpiece.
Notice
• Please check the power of the instrument before use to ensure sufficient power.
• When wet flaw detection, please ensure that the magnetic suspension is sprayed evenly, and pay attention to the sealing of the instrument to prevent leakage.
When adjusting the yoke spacing, use the special tools provided to avoid damaging the Probe.
• Do not perform flaw detection operations while the instrument is charging.
• Instruments should be avoided from severe impact or drop.
• When performing fluorescent flaw detection, please operate in a dark or dark environment with dark rays of light, and ensure that the ultraviolet light source illuminance is up to standard.
• The battery is a replaceable design, please use the original matching battery for replacement.
• When the instrument is not in use for a long time, it is recommended to charge and maintain the battery regularly.
