Overview
MT-1XC/MT-1XB Portable swirl/spin magnetic field Flaw detector is based on the principle of leakage magnetic field adsorption magnetic particles for flaw detection. It comes standard with a cross-type magnetic yoke Probe, which adopts a four-legged roller design for continuous multi-directional flaw detection, and has a built-in adjustable luminance LED lighting (white/fluorescent optional). The instrument is powered by a large-capacity lithium battery, which gets rid of the dependence on 220V power supply. It has low power consumption and supports online or offline charging. It is widely used in aircraft manufacturing, boiler Pressure Vessel and other industries. It is a professional precision instrument to ensure production safety.

Principle
The instrument is based on the principle of leakage magnetic field adsorption magnetic particles for flaw detection. When there is a defect in the detected workpiece, the leakage magnetic field at the defect will adsorption magnetic particles, and the location and size of the defect can be judged by observing the density of the adsorption magnetic particles.

Steps
1. Check the power of the instrument to ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2. Select the white light or fluorescence (MT-1XC) lighting mode according to the flaw detection environment, and adjust the luminance.
3. Place the cross yoke Probe on the surface of the workpiece to be inspected, and use a four-legged roller to continuously move the flaw detection.
4. Observe the density of magnetic particle adsorption on the surface of the workpiece to determine whether there are defects.
5. After the flaw detection is completed, turn off the power supply of the instrument and perform charging maintenance.
Notice
• Make sure the battery is charged before use to avoid long-term flaw detection operations when the battery is low.
When selecting the lighting mode and luminance, it needs to be adjusted according to the environment ray of light conditions to ensure clear observation.
• Please move the yoke Probe smoothly during operation to ensure that the magnetic pole is in good contact with the workpiece surface.
• The Continuous Operating Time of the instrument is long, but it is recommended to reasonably arrange the operation and intermittent with reference to the specification parameters (≥ 4h).
• Please use the matching charger and 220V, 50Hz power supply when charging, and pay attention to the charging time (4-5 hours).
• The instrument should be properly stored in the instrument package to avoid severe impact or humid environment.
• When performing Sensitivity verification, refer to the Type A 15/100 standard test piece.
