Overview
MT-1Y series portable integrated Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment is an improved design product based on traditional Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment. It integrates AC magnetization power supply into the magnetic yoke and integrates magnetic detection, power supply, lighting and other functions. Compact structure, small size, light weight, good sealing effect, strong insulation performance, safe and reliable, more efficient and convenient on-site flaw detection. Large-capacity lithium battery packs can be disassembled and assembled independently, and can be replaced flexibly on site without connecting wires. Long standby can work continuously for more than 5 hours. It is especially suitable for on-site flaw detection and aerial work without power supply in the field, realizing the innovation of integrated magnetic particle flaw detection.

10. One machine dual-use, fluorescent white light can be switched, and the illumination intensity range is large (MT-1YB only has white Illuminant).

The instrument has full video recording, the instrument comes with its own WIFI transmission function, no extranet required, can be connected to a mobile phone or tablet, can realize functions such as video recording and photography, and has traceability to flaw detection results (MT-1YA has this function).

Principle
The instrument is a portable integrated Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment, which generates a magnetic field through an AC magnetization power supply integrated in the magnetic yoke to magnetize a ferromagnetic workpiece. When there is a defect on the surface or near the surface of the workpiece, a magnetic leakage field will be formed at the defect, and the applied magnetic particles (dry powder or magnetic suspension) will be adsorbed to form a visible magnetic trace display to achieve defect detection.

Steps
1. According to the detection requirements, use the foot adjustment tool to adjust the yoke spacing.
2. Turn on the instrument power.
3. Contact the yoke Probe with the surface of the workpiece to be inspected, and the instrument automatically recognizes and starts magnetizing.
4. Apply magnetic particles (dry powder or magnetic suspension) to the magnetized area.
5. Observe the magnetic trace display to determine whether there are any defects.
6. After the inspection is completed, the Probe is removed from the workpiece and the magnetization is automatically stopped.
7. If you need to record, you can connect your mobile phone or tablet through the WIFI function of the instrument to take pictures or videos (MT-1YA model).
8. When not in use for a long time, the instrument will automatically shut down after 4 minutes.
Notice
• The instrument is an integrated design, no additional cable is required, please do not disassemble it yourself.
• When performing wet flaw inspection, please ensure that the instrument is well sealed to prevent leakage.
• The yoke Probe automatically magnetizes when it touches the workpiece, and automatically stops when it leaves. There is no need to press the switch when operating.
• The instrument is equipped with a double switch and a spare switch, please pay attention to the operation.
• The instrument has an intelligent shutdown function, which will automatically shut down if it is not operated for a long time to save power.
• The lithium battery is replaceable, please use the matching charger (16.8V/2A) to charge.
• When adjusting the yoke spacing, please use the special foot adjustment tool provided.
• Please note the functional differences between different models (e.g. MT-1YB only has white Illuminant, MT-1YA has WIFI video recording).
• Ensure that the test environment meets the lighting requirements of the instrument (white light intensity greater than 2000lux).
The instrument can work continuously and uninterrupted, but it is still necessary to pay attention to the battery power display and replace or charge it in time.
