Overview
MT-1Y series portable integrated Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment, including MT-1YA, MT-1YB, MT-1YC three models, is an improved design product based on traditional Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment. It integrates AC magnetization power supply inside the magnetic yoke, integrates magnetic detection, power supply, lighting and other functions in one, compact structure, small size, light weight, good sealing effect, strong insulation performance, safe and reliable, more efficient and convenient on-site flaw detection. The large-capacity lithium battery pack can be disassembled and assembled independently, replaced flexibly on site, no need for connecting wires, cost saving, long standby can work continuously for more than 5 hours, especially suitable for field field flaw detection and aerial work without power supply, and realizes the integration of magnetic particle flaw detection.
Features

10. One machine dual-use, fluorescent white light can be switched, and the illumination intensity range is large (MT-1YB only has white Illuminant).

The instrument has full video recording, the instrument comes with its own WIFI transmission function, no extranet required, can be connected to a mobile phone or tablet, can realize functions such as video recording and photography, and has traceability to flaw detection results (MT-1YA has this function).

Principle
Based on the principle of magnetic particle flaw detection, the instrument generates a magnetic field on the surface of the workpiece by integrating the electromagnetic yoke of the AC magnetization power supply. When there is a surface or near-surface defect in the workpiece, a magnetic leakage field is formed at the defect, and the applied magnetic particles (dry powder or magnetic suspension) are adsorbed to form a magnetic mark visible to the naked eye, indicating the location and shape of the defect. Its intelligent identification function can automatically start the magnetization when the Probe touches the workpiece and stop when it leaves.
Applications
It is especially suitable for on-site flaw detection without power in the field, aerial work, and occasions where portable and efficient testing is required.
Standards
Sensitivity meets the requirements of A-type 15/100 standard specimen with clear manual grooving display.
Steps
1. According to the inspection requirements, use the foot adjustment tool to adjust the yoke spacing (55-200mm).
2. Turn on the instrument power.
3. According to the needs of flaw detection (dry powder, magnetic suspension, fluorescent or ordinary light), select and turn on the corresponding lighting Illuminant (white light or fluorescent).
4. Contact the instrument yoke Probe with the surface of the workpiece to be inspected, and the instrument intelligently recognizes and automatically starts magnetization.
5. Apply magnetic particles (dry powder or magnetic suspension) to the magnetized area.
6. Observe the magnetic trace display to determine defects.
7. After the inspection is completed, the Probe is removed from the workpiece and the magnetization is automatically stopped.
8. You can use the WIFI function that comes with the instrument to connect to a mobile phone or tablet for video recording or photo recording (MT-1YA model).
9. When not in use for a long time, the instrument will automatically shut down after 4 minutes.
Notice
• The instrument is an integrated design, please ensure good sealing when wet inspection to prevent leakage.
• Please check the battery level before use to ensure sufficient power.
• When adjusting the yoke spacing, please use a special foot adjustment tool to ensure that the adjustment is in place.
• In low battery mode, the instrument can still work normally, but it is recommended to charge or replace the battery in time to ensure the best battery life.
• The instrument has an automatic shutdown function. If it is not operated for a long time, it will automatically shut down to save power.
When replacing the battery, make sure the instrument is turned off.
When performing fluorescent flaw detection, make sure to use a hood in a dark place or place, and pay attention to whether the black light irradiance meets the requirements.
Do not use in a strong electromagnetic interference environment, so as not to affect the detection accuracy.
