Overview
CJE-12/220 Portable Magnetic Yoke Flaw Detector is a miniature magnetic particle flaw detection device launched by MITECH. The instrument has been improved and designed based on traditional Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment. It is small in size, light in weight, safe and reliable. It can be connected to AC or DC power supply. Its DC power supply adopts rechargeable batteries, which solves the problem of inconvenient power supply for traditional equipment. It is especially suitable for field and field where it is not easy to connect to 220V power supply. It is a professional precision instrument for magnetic particle detection on the surface of ferromagnetic materials of various steel structures, boilers, Pressure Vessels, pressure pipes and welded structures in the electric power, metallurgy, petrochemical, machinery and other industries.
Features
1. According to the magnetic interaction between the leakage magnetic field and the magnetic particles, the shape, location, size and severity of the defect can be intuitively displayed, and the nature of the defect can be determined.
2. Adopt AC and DC dual-use design, DC power supply is provided by rechargeable batteries, suitable for field and special workpieces where it is not easy to connect to 220V power supply.
3. Continuous Operating Time of a single charge can reach more than 6 hours, and the standby time is long.
4. AC power supply directly adopts 220V power input, no need for Miscellaneous instrument matching, easy to operate, simple, light weight and easy to carry.
5. CJE220D with white light configuration can perform ordinary magnetic particle flaw detection, CDX220 with purple light configuration can perform purple magnetic particle flaw detection, the yoke spacing can be adjusted, the integrated design is compact, the layout is reasonable, the volume is small, and it is convenient to carry. It can meet the different needs of different users.

Principle
The instrument works based on the principle of magnetic particle flaw detection. When a ferromagnetic material is magnetized, if there is a defect on or near the surface of the material, a magnetic leakage field will be formed at the defect. The instrument magnetizes the workpiece by generating a magnetic field through the magnetic yoke, and the applied magnetic particles will be adsorbed in the defect area due to the magnetic interaction of the magnetic leakage field, thus intuitively showing the shape, location, size and severity of the defect.

Steps
1. According to the site conditions, choose to use the AC 220V power supply for direct power supply or the built-in rechargeable battery for DC power supply.
2. According to the needs of flaw detection, choose white light configuration (CJE220D) for ordinary magnetic particle flaw detection or purple light configuration (CDX220) for purple magnetic particle flaw detection.
3. Adjust the yoke spacing to accommodate different workpieces.
4. Place the instrument yoke on the surface of the workpiece to be inspected and magnetize the workpiece.
5. Apply magnetic particles and observe the aggregation of magnetic particles to determine defects.
6. The instrument is operated in a working gap time (1 second on, 2 seconds off) mode.
Notice
• The instrument is a precision testing equipment, please use it according to the operating specifications.
• Please ensure that the power connection is correct and reliable before use, and pay attention to the battery power when using DC power supply.
• Pay attention to the working gap time of the instrument (1 second on, 2 seconds off) to avoid continuous power-on for a long time.
• The charging time of the rechargeable battery (MF12 - 7.2H) is about 8 to 15 hours, please use the designated 220V 50Hz charging power supply.
Do not use the instrument in environments or conditions beyond the specified limits.
• The instrument meets the JB/T7411-2012 standard, and maintenance and calibrating should be carried out with reference to relevant standards.
