Overview
CJE series miniature magnetic yoke Flaw detector is a Portable magnetic particle flaw detection device launched by MITECH, the models include CDX-220. The instrument is improved based on the traditional design, with small size, light weight, safety and reliability. It supports AC 220V power supply and built-in rechargeable battery DC power supply, which solves the problem of inconvenience of traditional equipment in the field or on-site power supply without 220V power supply. It is suitable for electric power, metallurgy, petrochemical, machinery and other industries. It is used to detect defects in the surface layer of ferromagnetic materials such as various steel structures, boilers, Pressure Vessel, pressure pipes and welded structures.
Features
1. According to the magnetic interaction between the leakage magnetic field and the magnetic particles, the shape, location, size and severity of the defect can be visually displayed, which helps to determine the nature of the defect.
2. For AC and DC dual-use Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment, DC power supply adopts rechargeable battery, which is suitable for field and field where it is inconvenient to connect 220V power supply.
3. Continuous Operating Time can reach more than 6 hours after a single charge, and the standby time is long.
4. AC power supply directly adopts 220V power input, no Miscellaneous supporting equipment, easy to operate, simple, light weight and easy to carry.
5. Provide white light configuration (CJE220D, for ordinary magnetic particle flaw detection) and purple light configuration (CDX-220, for purple magnetic particle flaw detection) optional, adjustable yoke spacing, integrated design compact structure, reasonable layout, compact size, to meet different user requests.

Principle
The Portable Yoke Flaw detector works based on the principle of magnetic particle flaw detection. When the instrument applies a magnetic field to a ferromagnetic material workpiece, if there is a defect (such as crazing) on the surface of the material, a magnetic leakage field will be formed at the defect. This magnetic leakage field attracts magnetic particles applied to the surface of the workpiece, thus aggregating at the defect location to form a visible magnetic mark, visually showing the shape, location and size of the defect.

Steps
1. Select the power supply method according to the site conditions: connect the 220V AC power supply or use the built-in battery for DC power supply.
2. According to the detection requirements, select the instrument model with white light configuration (ordinary magnetic particles) or purple light configuration (fluorescent magnetic particles) and the corresponding magnetic particles.
3. Adjust the yoke spacing to accommodate different workpieces.
4. Place the yoke on the surface of the workpiece to be inspected to ensure good contact.
5. Turn on the power of the instrument and apply a magnetic field. The working gap time of the instrument is 1 second on and 2 seconds off.
6. Spray magnetic suspension or magnetic particles on the surface of the workpiece.
7. Observe the magnetic marks formed by the accumulation of magnetic particles and judge the defect situation.
8. Turn off the instrument power after the test is completed.
Notice
• The instrument is dedicated to surface flaw detection of ferromagnetic materials, please do not use it on non-ferromagnetic materials.
When using AC power supply, make sure the power supply is 220V 50Hz and ensure a safe connection.
• When using DC battery power supply, please pay attention to the battery power. After a single charge, the Continuous Operating Time is about 6 hours, and the charging time is 8 to 15 hours.
• Please follow the working interval time (1 second on, 2 seconds off) during operation to avoid overheating of the instrument.
• Correctly select the white light (ordinary) or purple light (fluorescent) configuration and the corresponding magnetic particles according to the detection requirements.
When adjusting the yoke spacing, ensure stable contact with the workpiece surface.

• The rechargeable battery model is MF12-7.2H, please use the matching charger to charge.
