Overview
CJE-220 Portable Magnetic Yoke Flaw Detector is a miniature magnetic particle flaw detection device launched by MITECH. It has an improved design based on traditional Magnetic Particle Testing Equipment. It is small in size, light in weight, safe and reliable, and can be connected to AC or DC power supply. Its DC power supply uses rechargeable batteries, which solves the drawbacks of inconvenient power supply of traditional equipment. It is especially suitable for field and field where it is not easy to connect 220V power supply. The instrument is a professional precision instrument for magnetic particle detection on the surface of ferromagnetic materials of various steel structures, boilers, Pressure Vessels, pressure pipes and welded structures in the electric power, metallurgy, petrochemical, machinery and other industries.
Features
1. According to the magnetic interaction between the leakage magnetic field and the magnetic particles, the shape, location, size and severity of the defect can be visually displayed, which helps to determine the nature of the defect.
2. Adopting dual-use design of alternating current and direct current, the DC power supply is a rechargeable battery, which is suitable for the field and sites where it is inconvenient to connect to 220V power supply.
3. Continuous Operating Time can reach more than 6 hours after a single charge, and the standby time is long.
4. AC power supply can be directly input 220V power supply, no Miscellaneous supporting equipment, easy to operate, simple, light weight, easy to carry.
5. Provide white light configuration (CJE220D, ordinary magnetic particle flaw detection) and purple light configuration (CDX220, purple magnetic particle flaw detection) optional, adjustable yoke spacing, integrated design compact structure, reasonable layout, small size, to meet different user requests.
6. The instrument meets the requirements of JB/T7411-2012 "Electromagnetic Yoke Flaw detector Technical Conditions" standard.
Principle
The instrument works based on the principle of magnetic particle flaw detection. When a ferromagnetic material is magnetized, if there is a defect on or near the surface of the material, a magnetic leakage field will be formed at the defect. By applying magnetic particles, the magnetic particles will be adsorbed by the magnetic leakage field, thus accumulating at the defect to form a magnetic mark visible to the naked eye, intuitively showing the shape, location, size and severity of the defect.

Steps
1. Select the AC (connected to 220V power supply) or DC (using built-in battery) power supply mode according to the site conditions.
2. According to the needs of flaw detection, choose the instrument with white light (ordinary magnetic particles) or purple light (fluorescent magnetic particles) configuration, and adjust the magnetic yoke to the appropriate spacing.
3. Place the instrument yoke on the surface of the workpiece to be inspected to ensure good contact.
4. Turn on the instrument for magnetization and apply magnetic particles.
5. Observe the magnetic trace display to determine the defect condition.
6. The working gap follows the beat of "1 second on, 2 seconds off" to protect the instrument and save power.
7. After use, if it is in DC mode, charge the battery in time (charging time is about 8 to 15 hours).
Notice
• Instruments are precision equipment, please keep them properly to avoid violent impact or fall.
When using AC power, ensure that the power supply is 220V 50Hz and pay attention to power safety.
• When using DC battery power supply, please pay attention to the battery power to avoid excessive discharge affecting the battery life.
• Please use the matching charger when charging. The charging time is about 8 to 15 hours. Please do not overcharge for a long time.
• Please follow the beat requirement of "work for 1 second, interval for 2 seconds" when operating to protect the internal components of the instrument.
The yoke spacing can be adjusted according to the shape of the workpiece to ensure good contact with the detection surface for optimum magnetization.
• Select the corresponding configuration instrument model (CJE220D or CDX220) according to the detection requirements (ordinary or fluorescent magnetic particles).
• The instrument is suitable for ferromagnetic materials, please do not use it for the detection of non-ferromagnetic materials.
