Overview
CJE-220D Portable yoke Flaw detector is a miniature magnetic particle flaw detection device launched by MITECH. The instrument has been improved on the basis of traditional yoke Flaw detector, which is compact, light weight, safe and reliable. It supports AC and DC power supply. The DC power supply adopts rechargeable batteries, which effectively solves the problem of inconvenient power supply for traditional equipment in the field or without 220V power supply. It is suitable for magnetic particle detection on the surface of various ferromagnetic materials.
Features
1. Based on the principle of magnetic interaction between the leakage magnetic field and magnetic particles, the shape, location, size and severity of the defect can be visually displayed, which helps to determine the nature of the defect.
Adopt alternating current and direct current dual-use design, DC power supply is provided by rechargeable batteries, especially suitable for field or field without 220V power supply.
3. After a single charge, the Continuous Operating Time of the instrument can reach more than 6 hours, and the standby time is long.
4. AC power supply directly uses 220V power input, no Miscellaneous supporting equipment, easy to operate, simple, light weight, easy to carry.
5. White light configuration (CJE220D) can be used for ordinary magnetic particle flaw detection, purple light configuration (CDX220) can be used for purple magnetic particle flaw detection, the yoke spacing is adjustable, the integrated design is compact and the layout is reasonable to meet different user requests.
6. The instrument meets the requirements of JB/T7411-2012 "Electromagnetic Yoke Flaw detector Technical Conditions" standard.
Principle
The instrument works according to the principle of magnetic interaction between the leakage field and magnetic particles. When a ferromagnetic material has a defect, the magnetic field lines will distort and partially leak to the surface to form a leakage field. The magnetic particles adsorbed on the surface of the material will be attracted by the leakage field, thus accumulating at the defect to form a magnetic mark, intuitively showing the shape, location, size and severity of the defect.

Steps
1. Select the AC (connected to 220V power supply) or DC (using built-in battery) power supply mode according to the site conditions.
2. According to the needs of flaw detection, choose ordinary white magnetic particles (CJE220D configuration) or purple magnetic particles (CDX220 configuration) for detection.
3. Adjust the yoke spacing to accommodate different workpieces.
4. Place the yoke on the surface of the workpiece to be inspected and turn on the instrument for magnetization.
5. Apply magnetic particles (dry or wet) and observe the magnetic trace display.
6. The instrument adopts the working interval time mode (on for 1 second, off for 2 seconds), and operates according to this rhythm.
Notice
• When the instrument is powered by DC, please ensure that the battery is fully charged. After a single charge, the Continuous Operating Time is about 6 hours, and the charging time is 8 to 15 hours.
When using AC power supply, please connect the 220V 50Hz power supply directly without the need for Miscellaneous equipment.
• When operating, please follow the working gap time of the instrument (1 second on, 2 seconds off) to avoid overheating of the equipment.
• Correctly select the instrument model configured with white light (ordinary magnetic particles) or purple light (fluorescent magnetic particles) according to the detection requirements.
The instrument meets the JB/T7411-2012 standard and should be used with reference to relevant safety and operating specifications.
