Overview
MRT10-S wire rope Flaw detector is the main product launched by MITECH. Based on the principle of magnetic flux leakage, it can detect the broken wire, rust, abrasion and other defects inside and outside the wire rope in real time, and calculate the change of metal cross-sectional area by Basis Weight. The hardware adopts advanced MRT magnetic Sensor and special acquisition module, and directly stores the data to the computer through RS232 or USB bus; the software is based on wavelet transform analysis to realize data collection, control, analysis, display and storage. With the help of dynamic continuous tracking, real-time observation of signal changes, display results and alarm, and automatic evaluation function. The instrument is portable, easy to operate, high accuracy, good repeatability and accurate positioning, and is widely used in lifting machinery, coal mine hoists, elevators, ropeways, port machinery, cable bridges and other industries.

Principle
The Working Principle of MRT10-S is: When the wire rope passes through the Sensor quickly, the magnetic steel in the Sensor magnetizes the wire rope at an axial depth and reaches saturation. The defects such as broken wire and abrasion of the wire rope generate leakage magnetic field and magnetic flux changes synchronously. After the magnetic signal diffused into space is gathered through the magnetic ring, it is converted into voltage change value by the array wide-angle Hall element group, and the analog-to-digital conversion is carried out through the AD interface, and the digital signal is compressed and input to the PC. The software real-time decompression processing based on the 3D mathematical model shows the change of broken wire, rust, abrasion, and metal cross-sectional area inside and outside the wire rope with a clear Basis Weight value. The diagnostic evaluation report of the safety and service life of the wire rope is proposed according to the current standard.
