Overview
DZDR-AS transient thermal conductivity tester is an accurate, fast and easy-to-use thermal conductivity measuring instrument produced by Dazhan Instrument, which is suitable for measuring the thermal conductivity value of thermal insulation materials. The instrument is based on the transient plane heat source method and complies with ISO 2 2007-2 - 2008, GB/T 32064-2015, GB/T 4 2919.1 - 2000 23 and other standards. It can test different forms of materials such as liquid, solid block, paste, powder, film, etc. The test time is short (each sample is ≤ 160S), and the Sensitivity is high (up to 0.00001).
Features
1. Wide test range: thermal conductivity 0.0001 - 50W/(m * K), temperature range -40 ℃ - 200 ℃ (expandable).
2. High Accuracy and repeability: accuracy 0.0001W/(m * K), repeatability error ≤ 1%.
3. Rapid test: each sample test time is less than or equal to 160S.
4. Multifunctional Probe: Equipped with 2 High Accuracy Probes, optional anti-magnetization Probe.
5. Low power consumption design: the power of the whole machine is less than 300W.
6. Sample adaptability: support solid, liquid, powder and other forms, with special fixtures.
Principle
The transient planar heat source method is based on the principle of planar one-dimensional unsteady thermal conduction: in an infinite medium, a planar heat source generates a dynamic temperature field inside the medium after receiving an instantaneous heating pulse in the initial thermal equilibrate state. Through the temperature data generated by the heat conduction process, the fitting function Linear dispersion is used to calculate the thermal conductivity and thermal diffusion coefficient of the sample. During the test, a constant DC is applied to the heat source, and the temperature rise on the surface of the heat source is generated, and the resistance increases, which makes the bridge test system unBalanced and generates a potential change. Then, the function of temperature increase with time is obtained through the change of electrical parameters.
Applications
Thermal conductivity testing of thermal insulation materials, liquids, solid blocks, pastes, powders, films and other materials
Standards
ISO 22007-2-2008、GB/T 32064-2015、GB/T42919.1-2023
Steps
1. Prepare the sample: Select the appropriate specification according to the sample shape, the size of the solid sample should be ≥ 7.5mm * 7.5mm * 3.75mm or ≥ 15mm * 15mm * 7.5mm, and the liquid or powder sample should use the matching fixture (capacity 18ml).
2. Install Probe: Select and install High Accuracy Probe or Anti-Magnetization Probe.
3. Start the test: Apply a constant DC current to the heat source, and the instrument automatically records the change of electrical parameters.
4. Data collection: The system fits the function Linear dispersion through the temperature data.
5. Result calculation: The thermal conductivity and thermal diffusion coefficient are automatically calculated, and the test time is less than or equal to 160S.
Notice
• Ensure that the sample size meets the requirements, and the minimum size of the solid sample is 7.5mm * 7.5mm * 3.75mm or 15mm * 15mm * 7.5mm.
• Liquid and powder samples need to use matching clamps with a capacity of no more than 18ml.
• Check Probe connections before testing to avoid contact affecting accuracy.
• The power of the instrument is < 300W, pay attention to the stability of the power supply when using it.
• Test Ambient Temperature should be in the range of -40 ℃ to 200 ℃, if you need to expand the temperature range, special configuration is required.
