Overview
Defelsko Defelsko C Standard 200C1-E Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a standard ultrasonic Coating thickness gauge specially designed for the measurement of Coating thickness on the surface of concrete, fiberglass and other materials. Measurement range of 50 to 3800 microns, the instrument uses Abrasion Resistance Probe and High Sensitivity Sensor to ensure fast and accurate measurement.
Features
1. Durability: resistant to solvents, acids, oils, water and dust, all-weather protection; rubber sheath with belt buckle has shock absorption and protection functions; host and Probe provide two-year mass guarantee
2. Simplicity: easy to use, most tests do not need to be calibrated; one-handed operation menu; two-color indicator light performs well in noisy environments; RESET restart function can quickly restore factory settings
Accuracy: Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge Traceability to NIST Calibration Proof; Sensitive Sensor Provides Fast and Accurate Readings; Complies with ASTM D6132 and ISO 2808 Standards
4. Multi-purpose: PosiTector host is highly versatile and can be used with a variety of Probes; Mil/micron unit free switching; multiple languages optional; high contrast backlight display; inverted display function; alkaline battery or rechargeable battery can be used
5. Powerful functions: continuous display/update of average, Standard Deviation, minimum/maximum thickness and number of readings; screenshot function; connection to computer via USB port; standard USB cable and PosiSoft USB driver; date and time of each stored data; software update via the Internet
Principle
The Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge uses proven non-destructive ultrasonic thickness measurement technology to measure thickness through the propagation characteristics of ultrasonic waves in coatings. The sensitive Sensor can quickly and accurately detect Coating thickness, meeting relevant international standards.
Applications
Coating thickness measurement of concrete, fiberglass, etc
Standards
ASTM D6132、ISO 2808
Steps
1. Boot preparation: install battery or charge
2. Measurement settings: choose the unit (micron/mil) and language as needed
3. Start measurement: Probe placed on the surface of the tested coating for measurement
4. Data viewing: View real-time readings, averages, Standard Deviation and other statistical information through the display screen
5. Data storage: The instrument automatically stores measurement data up to 250 readings
6. Data transmission: Connect to the computer through the USB port, use the PosiSoft USB driver to read, print and store data
