Overview
This fineness meter is designed according to the standard Coating inspection method promulgated by the Ministry of Chemical Industry, the fineness meter measurement method GB/T6753.1-86 and ISO1524-83 standards, which can be used for inspection of Paints and paint pulp. The fineness of pigments, fillers and impurities and other particles is expressed in microns.

Principle
The fineness meter scrapes the sample on the groove of the scraper through the drawdown blade, and measures the fineness of the pigment, filler and impurity particles in the Paints and paint paste according to the distribution of the particles in the groove. The results are expressed in microns.

Steps
1. Prepare the sample to be tested
2. Place the sample in the scraper groove
3. Use the drawdown blade to scrape the groove evenly
4. Observe the distribution of particles in the groove
5. Read the fineness value in microns
Notice
• Ensure that the scraper and drawdown blade are clean and free of contamination before use
• Keep the drawdown blade perpendicular to the plane of the scraper during operation
• Avoid drawdown blade damage and affect Measurement accuracy
• Clean the instrument in time after measurement to prevent sample residue
Store in a drying environment to avoid corrosion
