This product is JINGKELIAN QXD 0-150 stainless steel Grindometer, designed according to the standard GB1724-79 of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, used to determine the fineness of pigments, fillers and impurities in Paints, paint slurries and inks. The results are expressed in microns.
1. According to the national standard GB1724-79 design, the measurement results are accurate and reliable. 2. The main scraper and drawdown blade are made of stainless steel, which is sturdy and durable. 3. The scraping groove is designed for single-channe, with a range of 0-150μm, Graduation 5μm, and clear scale. 4. The key working face (scraper upper plane, chute bottom surface, drawdown blade edge) has high smoothness and flatness accuracy up to micron level to ensure scraping flatness and Measurement accuracy.
The fineness meter uses a straight drawdown blade to scrape through the groove at a uniform speed and pressure by placing the sample to be tested in the groove end of the scraper. Since the groove is from deep to shallow, the particles in the sample will be blocked by the drawdown blade at a certain depth. By observing the scale corresponding to the position where the particles are evenly exposed in the groove, the fineness value of the sample can be read.

1. Drop the sample to be tested on the deeper end of the scraper groove. 2. Hold the drawdown blade so that it is perpendicular to the plane of the scraper, and scrape the sample from the deep end of the groove to the shallow end at a uniform speed and appropriate pressure. 3. Immediately after scraping (usually within 5 seconds), observe the groove at a suitable angle to determine the scale position where the particles are evenly exposed. 4. Read the scale value corresponding to this position, which is the fineness of the sample (unit: micrometers).
• Before use, ensure that the measurement face of the scraper and drawdown blade is clean, drying and free of damage. The scraping operation should be done quickly, evenly and at one time to avoid pause or repeability. • The reading should be completed within the specified time after scraping to avoid sample levelling or volatilization affecting the judgment. • After use, the scraper and drawdown blade should be cleaned with a suitable solvent in time, and properly stored to prevent collision and damage to the measurement surface. • This instrument is a precision measurement tool and needs to be handled with care to avoid falling or impact.
