Overview
This product is JINGKELIAN QXD 50-150 (cr12 molybdenum vanadium) Grindometer, designed according to the standard GB1724-79 of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, used for inspection of Paints, paint pulp and inks pigments, fillers and impurities and other particles fineness, measurement results in microns.
Features
1. Designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB1724-79.
2. The scraper is made of cr12 molybdenum vanadium material, which is sturdy and durable.
3. The key working face of scraper and drawdown blade has high accuracy of finish and flatness to ensure measurement accuracy.
4. Single-channe design, the range is 50~ 150μm, Graduation 10μm, clear scale.
Principle
The fineness meter scrapes the surface of the groove by placing the sample to be tested in the groove of the scraper and using the matching drawdown blade at constant pressure and speed. The particles in the sample will leave traces on the inclined surface of the groove, and the fineness value of the particles can be read by observing the scale corresponding to the position where the traces appear.
Applications
Paints inspection, paint paste inspection, inks inspection
Steps
1. Drop the sample to be tested into the deeper end of the scraper groove.
2. Double hand-held drawdown blades, placed vertically on the plane of the scraper, scrape the sample flat above the groove.
3. Immediately after scraping the sample (no more than 5 seconds), make the line of sight at an angle of 15 to 30 degrees from the groove plane, and observe the uniform exposure of the particles.
4. Read the value corresponding to the scale line on the edge of the groove, which is the fineness value of the sample.
Notice
* Before use, carefully clean the scraper and drawdown blade with a solvent and dry them with a muslin.
* The scraping operation needs to be completed quickly, the drawdown blade traverse speed should be uniform, and the whole process should be completed within 5 seconds.
When reading, the line of sight should be at an angle of 15 to 30 degrees from the groove plane to observe the uniform exposure of particles.
* After use, it should be cleaned in time to keep the instrument clean and drying.
* Avoid bumping the edge of the drawdown blade and the surface of the scraper to prevent damage from affecting the accuracy.
