Overview
The OSP-12 L720φ 10 is an OSP brand Grooved Rods film applicator for Spreader specific film thickness wet-film on substrates. The model has a wet film thickness of 12μm, a main rod diameter of 10mm, an effective Spreader width of 620mm, and a total length of 720mm. It is made of 304 stainless steel. It uses cold extrusion technology to process a precise mountain-shaped Linear dispersion on the surface of the steel rod, replacing the traditional wire-wrapping bar, solving the problems of easy loosening, difficult cleaning and inability to perform ultra-thin film Spreader.
Features
1. Adopting cold extrusion processing technology, there is no winding of steel wire on the surface, eliminating the risk of loosening or breaking of the steel wire.
2. Linear dispersion lubrication smooth, easy to clean, not easy to block.
3. Capable of ultra-thin film Spreader, the minimum wet film thickness can reach 2 μm (such as OSP-02 model), breaking through the limit of traditional bar.
4. Spreader effects can be optimized by selecting different mountain types (e.g. standard S type) according to the substrate and coating solution.
5. Provide a variety of models, wet film thickness coverage (from 1.5μm to 150μm), to meet different Coating Weight requirements.
6. Made of 304 stainless steel, it has good durability.
Principle
The OSP Grooved Rods film applicator uses the principle of plastic deformation of metals to cold-extrude stainless steel rods through precision molds to roll out concave-convex wavy Linear dispersion of specific shapes (such as mountains) on their surface. When Spreader, the coating liquid is transferred to the substrate by these Linear dispersion structures Basis Weight to form a uniform wet-film. The design of the mountain-shaped bottom is usually wider than that of traditional steel wire scrapers, so it generally provides greater Coating Weight.
Applications
Suitable for applications requiring precision Spreaders, such as coating R & D and testing, inks Spreaders, Adhesive Spreaders, functional coating prepatives, laboratory sample prepatives, calender roll processing, etc.
Steps
1. Select the appropriate OSP bar model according to the desired wet film thickness.
2. Fix both ends of the bar to the Spreader device.
3. Pour an appropriate amount of Spreader liquid on one end of the substrate.
4. Push or pull the bar at uniform speed and pressure to spread the film formation on the substrate.
5. After the Spreader is completed, clean the residual coating liquid on the surface of the bar in time.
Notice
• Product pictures are for reference only, and the specific Appearance is subject to the actual product.
• After use, it should be cleaned thoroughly in time to keep the bar surface Linear dispersion unobstructed and avoid blockage.
• When selecting the model, refer to the selection comparison table, and comprehensively judge according to the wire diameter, tooth shape parameters (such as tooth pitch P, tooth height H) and volume.
• Spreader effect is affected by factors such as the nature of the substrate, the viscosity of the coating liquid and the operation method. It is recommended to test in advance.
• Please keep it properly to avoid bumping and damaging the precision Linear dispersion structure on the surface of the rod body.
