Overview
BSF-5 is a special equipment for domestic (CN) pulp and paper laboratory. It is used to determine the weight average Fiber Length of Pulp fibers by sieving method and measure the distribution ratio of fibers of different lengths in Stock. This instrument complies with the screening test methods specified in GB/T 2678.1-1993, TAPPI T233cm-95 and Nordic SCAN M6 standards.
Features
1. The equipment is made of stainless steel, with an optimized structure, and each part is installed on the overall wall panel
2. Each screening slot with independent stirringdevice
3. Equipped with LDE display, the first two digits display minutes, and the last two digits display seconds
4. Screening groove into a stepped design, sieve hole size is different
5. The water flow rate is adjustable from 0 to 20L/min, and the screening time is adjustable from 0 to 9999min
6. Screening stages 5, sieve capacity 10 liters
Principle
Pulp suspension is injected into a sieve, each sieve container is equipped with different mesh sieves and arranged in a stepped manner. When the pulp suspension flows from one container to another at a specific water flow speed, the different sieves retain the corresponding Fiber Length Pulp. After sieving for a certain period of time, the fibers on each sieve plate are collected, and after drying with constant weight, the results are reported according to the amount of fibers remaining on each mesh and the percentage of the input sample mass.
Applications
Pulp and Paper Laboratory
Standards
GB/T 2678.1、TAPPI T233、SCAN M6
Steps
Inject Basis Weight Pulp Suspension into Stage 1 Screening Tank
2. Adjust the water flow and screening time to the requirements of the experimental standard
3. Start the equipment for screening, Pulp suspension flows through each screening tank step by step
4. After the screening is completed, collect the fibers in each screening tank
5. Dry the collected fibers and maintain a constant weight
6. Calculate the mass percentage of the amount of fiber remaining on each mesh to the input sample and report the results
Notice
The need for a continuous water supply
• Stirrer speed should be kept at (580 +/- 1) rpm
• Adjust water flow and screening time according to experimental standards
• Screening mesh selection should be determined according to Fiber Length Type
• The power supply of the equipment is 240W/380V, which needs to match the corresponding power conditions
