Overview
The OB series collector Magnetic Stirrer adopts the collector heating method, so that the heating container is in a strong heat radiation, and the heating is uniform. The collector pot is made of high-quality stainless steel stamping, with special heating pipe and high temperature sealing material. The equipment adopts DC permanent magnet motor, which runs stably and has low noise. It supports water bath or oil bath heating, and the temperature fluctuation is small. It is a reliable tool for experimenters in colleges and universities, environmental protection, health, epidemic prevention, petroleum, chemical and other units.
Features

5.5L models use 304 stainless steel pot body, surface lame plating Teflon, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, strong structure; 0.8 and 1.5L models use aluminum alloy pot body plus Teflon coating, corrosion resistance, good thermal conductivity.

7. The heating part and the electrical box are isolated by heat insulation board, and the high temperature does not affect the internal electrical performance of the instrument.

Principle
The device works through the collector heating method, using an external electric heating tube to heat the collector pot (made of stainless steel and with Teflon coating), generating strong heat radiation, so that the reaction vessel placed in it is heated evenly. At the same time, the stirrer is driven by a strong magnetic magnet at the bottom to swirl/spin in the container to realize the stirring function. The temperature is precisely controlled by PID technology combined with PT100 Sensor, and the motor uses a DC permanent magnet motor to provide a stable Rotation speed.

Steps
1. Place the device on a stable table and connect it to a power supply (AC 220V/50Hz).
2. According to the experimental requirements, add water (water bath) or oil (oil bath) to the collector.
3. Place the container containing the reactant and stirrer into the collector.
4. Set the required heating temperature (RT + 10-300 ℃) and stirring Rotation speed (0~ 2400rpm) through the control panel.
5. For timing, set the Timer Range (0-9999 minutes or hours).
6. Start the heating and stirring function, and observe the real-time temperature and Rotation speed through the LED digital tube.
7. After use, turn off the power supply and clean the equipment after chilling down.
Notice
• Power supply voltage is AC 220V/50Hz and the connection is reliable.
• Do not touch the hot pot, heating pipe or high temperature container during heating and stirring to prevent burns.
• When taking a water or oil bath, the liquid level should not be too full to prevent boiling overflow.
• When cleaning, disconnect the power first and wait for the equipment to chill down completely. Avoid scrubbing Teflon coated surfaces with sharp or corrosive cleaners.
• The equipment has anti-dry burning and over-temperature protection functions, but it is still necessary to avoid no-load heating in the state of no water or no oil.
When placing the reaction vessel, ensure that the bottom of the vessel is in good contact with the heat collecting pan for optimum heat transfer.
• If not used for a long time, please store the equipment in a drying and ventilated place.
