Overview
KDN Kjeldahl nitrogen meter is an automatic nitrogen measurement distillation system designed according to the classic Kjeldahl nitrogen determination method. The main workflow includes automatic water addition (including automatic water level detection function), automatic alkali addition (button control), manual acid addition (manual configuration) and automatic distillation (button control). The instrument is simple to operate, safe and reliable to use, time-saving and labor-saving. It is suitable for analysis, teaching and research in grain and oil detection, feed analysis, plant nutrient testing, soil and fertilizer detection, chemical industry and other industries. It is a reliable tool for operators and users.
Features
1. Simple operation; 2. Safe and reliable use; 3. Time-saving and labor-saving; 4. Automatic water addition function, including automatic water level detection; 5. Automatic alkali addition and distillation function, button control; 6. Manual acid addition, manual configuration; 7. Applicable to a variety of industries Analysis, teaching and research.
Principle
Proteins are nitrogenous organic compounds. Food is heated and digested together with sulfuric acid and catalyst, so that protein analysis, analysis of ammonia and sulfuric acid combine to form ammonium sulfate. Then under the action of alkali distillation, the ammonia released and water vapor are condensed together through the condenser and enter the conicalflask containing Boricacid. After being absorbed by Boricacid, titrate with sulfuric acid or muriatic acid standard solution, and multiply the acid consumption by the conversion factor to obtain the protein content.
Applications
Grain and oil testing, feed analysis, plant nutrient testing, soil and fertilizer testing, chemical industry
Standards
