Principle

This instrument is based on the principle of Soxhlet extraction and weight determination method to determine fat content. The fat is dissolved in an organic solvent, the fat is separated from the solvent by extraction method, and then dried, weighed, and calculated fat content. It is mainly composed of three parts: digital electric heating and constant temperature water bath heating extraction, solvent condensation recovery, and digital automatic temperature control. The sample is extracted with anhydrous ether or petroleum ether and other solvents and then evaporated to remove the solvent to obtain fat or crude fat.
