Overview
The Dutch TQC VF1999 DIN cup is a DIN Benchtop Flow rate viscosity cup with replaceable filters. Simply buy different diameter filters to meet different viscosity range tests and save costs. The product is suitable for testing the viscosity value of paints, varnishes and other liquids. The cup body is made of titanium anodic oxidation aluminum. The cup holder and cup nozzle are made of stainless steel and meet the DIN53211 standard.
Features
1. The annular groove design of the cup mouth can store overflowing liquids
2. Dimension design can be used with TQC viscosity cup bracket
3. Easy to clean, cup walls and outflow holes without difficult to clean sinkage
4. Production has consistent quality control
5. Each viscosity cup is engraved with a unique serial number
Principle
The DIN Benchtop flow cup determines the viscosity value by measuring the time for the liquid to flow out of the cup. According to the standard, the temperature of the liquid to be measured is 25 degrees Celsius, and the temperature fluctuation during the test does not exceed +/- 0.2 degrees Celsius. The viscosity is calculated by selecting the viscosity cup with the appropriate pore size and measuring the time for the liquid to flow out of the outflow hole to the first stop.
Applications
Paints, varnishes, other liquids
Steps
1. Adjust viscosity cup to horizontal position
2. Cover the outflow hole and inject the liquid to be tested to the liquid level beyond the edge of the cup mouth
3. Glass drawing plate to move the liquid curved part into the overflow ring and close the DIN cup
4. Ensure that the distance between the outflow hole and the recovery liquid level is greater than 100mm
5. Open the outflow hole and remove the Glass drawing plate to start timing
6. Timed until the first interruption of the liquid beam occurs
Notice
• Clean the outflow hole to remove residue and avoid scratching the inner surface
• It is a precision appliance and should not be dropped or hit.
• It needs to be cleaned after use
• Use soft cloth when cleaning, not wire brush or sandpaper
• Do not tap directly when disassembling the cup mouth, use the equipped pin rod
• Make sure the cup nozzle and viscosity cup are clean before installing the cup nozzle
• Put back the box when not in use
It is recommended to calibrate once a year
