The LINSHANG LS226 film instrument is a precision instrument for the measurement of nonmagnetic or nonconductive coating thickness on metal substrates. It can automatically identify ferromagnetic or non-ferromagnetic metal substrates and switch the magnetic Induction or eddy Current measurement mode accordingly. It is widely used in manufacturing, metal processing, chemical industry and commodity inspection.
1. The instrument uses its own weight to pressure to ensure that the Probe is under consistent force, reduce human error, and stabilize the measurement data. 2. Front + top dual display design, multi-angle fast reading Film thickness value, improve operation efficiency. 3. Support zero adjustment and 1-5 point calibrating, equipped with special zero adjustment board and standard sheet to ensure High Accuracy measurement. 4. Iron/non-iron dual-use Probe, automatic recognition of measurement matrix, intelligent operation. 5. The test accuracy can reach up to 2% H + 1μm, ensuring that it has passed the test of the National Reliable Measurement Institute. 6. With continuous measurement function, sliding detection, 0.1 second fast data acquisition, real-time display MAX Maximum and MIN Minimum. 7. Built-in memory chip, can save 9 sets of test data, easy to view at any time. 8. Available in both normal mode and QC mode, it is suitable for a variety of application scenarios. 9. The minimum measurable substrate Film thickness is Fe: 0.2mm/NFe: 0.05mm, which can easily cope with thin plate detection. 10. Using High Accuracy Sensor and Advanced Digital Probe Technology, the measurement error is small and the repeability is high. 11. Built-in Bluetooth communication module, can connect to mobile app, realize data storage, analysis and report sharing. 12. The probe is made of carbide, with strong Abrasion Resistance, and maintains accuracy under frequent or rough surface testing. 13. The body is lightweight and portable, can be operated with one hand, can be quickly, easily and nondestructive measurement.
The instrument uses two principles of magnetic Induction and eddy Current. For ferromagnetic metal substrates (such as steel), use the magnetic Induction method to measure the film thickness of nonmagnetic coatings (such as paints, enamels) on them; for non-ferromagnetic metal substrates (such as copper, aluminum), use the eddy Current method to measure the film thickness of nonconductive coatings (such as coatings, anodic oxidation layers) on them. The instrument can automatically identify the substrate type and switch the corresponding measurement mode.

1. Select normal mode or QC mode according to measurement requirements. 2. Before measurement, a special zero adjustment board can be used for zero adjustment, or a standard sheet can be used for 1-5 point calibrating to ensure accuracy. 3. Place the instrument Probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested, and the instrument will use its own weight to press and automatically identify the substrate type. 4. Read the Film thickness value on the front or top display. For large area measurement, the continuous measurement function can be turned on, sliding on the surface, the instrument will quickly capture and display MAX Maximum and MIN Minimum. 5. The measurement data can be automatically saved to the built-in storage (up to 9 groups), or more data can be stored, analyzed and reported through the Bluetooth connected mobile app.
• Make sure the instrument is properly calibrated before measurement. • Keep the Probe perpendicular to the coating surface during measurement and apply natural pressure using the instrument's own weight. • Ensure that the measured area meets the minimum measurement surface requirements (about 15mm in diameter). • When measuring the ferromagnetic substrate, the substrate Film thickness should be not less than 0.2mm; when measuring the non-ferromagnetic substrate, the substrate Film thickness should be not less than 0.05mm. • Ambient Temperature of the instrument is 0 ℃ -50 ℃, storage temperature is -20 ℃ -60 ℃, please use and store in the specified environment. • Please use the specified 2 1.5V AA alkaline batteries for power supply. • Probe cemented carbide, but still need to avoid excessive impact or abrasion to maintain accuracy.
You can consider a model that can measure a minimum substrate thickness of 0.2mm for Fe and 0.05mm for NFe, with an accuracy of ±(2% of the reading + 1μm). The instrument has high sensor accuracy, and the probe is made of wear-resistant hard alloy, which ensures that it does not penetrate thin plates during measurement while providing stable and reliable data.
Yes, I recommend this dual-purpose ferrous/non-ferrous probe coating thickness gauge. It can automatically identify whether the substrate is ferromagnetic or non-ferromagnetic metal and switch the measurement mode accordingly. For example, it can measure paint on steel or oxide layers on aluminum without the need for manual mode switching. It is smart and convenient, making it suitable for scenarios involving mixed metal types.
