Product Overview
The SBDY-1A digital whiteness meter is a measuring instrument under the YUE FENG brand, used to determine the whiteness value of objects. This model is designed with a focus on stability and accuracy.
Product Features
1. Adopts a high-efficiency, low-loss switching power supply for higher reliability.
2. Utilizes high-quality imported components to ensure stable operation and a longer service life.
3. Features a simplified optical path design, making operation and maintenance easier.
4. Incorporates a well-designed sample holder and movable platform to effectively prevent light leakage from the measurement aperture.
5. Employs a nationally calibrated whiteboard for calibration value transfer, ensuring more accurate measurements.
Working principle
This digital whiteness meter operates based on the principle of light reflection. The instrument's internal light source illuminates the sample, and the reflected light from the sample surface is received through a concise optical path design. The photoelectric element then converts this light into an electrical signal, which is processed and displayed as a whiteness value in digital form. Calibration is performed using a nationally calibrated whiteboard to ensure the accurate transmission of measurement values.
Application Fields
Papermaking, textiles, chemicals, building materials, ceramics, plastics, flour, salt, starch, coatings, paints
Compliant with standards
GB/T 3978、GB 2913、GB 5950、GB 8940.1、GB 12097、GB 1543、ISO 2470
Operating Steps
1. Turn on the instrument and allow it to warm up.
2. Calibrate using the national standard whiteboard included with the device.
3. Place the sample to be tested on the sample holder, ensuring it completely covers the measurement aperture.
4. Press the measurement button to perform the measurement.
5. Read and record the whiteness value displayed on the screen.
Precautions
• The instrument should be placed on a stable, vibration-free, and strong electromagnetic interference-free workbench.
• Avoid using it in environments with high temperature, high humidity, or excessive dust.
• The calibration standard whiteboard should be properly stored to avoid contamination and scratches.
• During measurement, ensure the sample is flat and completely covers the measurement aperture to prevent light leakage from affecting the results.
• Regularly clean the optical components of the instrument to keep the optical path clear.
• Non-professionals should not disassemble the instrument on their own.
