Product Overview
The HS-M Digital Display M-type Rubber Hardness Tester is a professional testing device under the Haibao Instrument brand, suitable for hardness measurement of thin, irregularly shaped rubber, O-rings, thermoplastic elastomers, and plastic samples. The instrument is equipped with dedicated PC operation software, which, when connected to a computer, enables functions such as data storage, analysis, export, query, and printing. It is widely used in fields such as quality inspection, physical experiments, and engineering testing.
Product Features
1. Specifically designed for testing thin samples.
2. Equipped with an LCD screen for more intuitive readings.
3. Features a real-time mode to display the instantaneous changes in hardness values during testing.
4. Includes a peak mode to record the hardness peak values during the testing process.
5. Offers an automatic timing mode, allowing the force holding time to be set (e.g., 3 seconds for vulcanized rubber and 15 seconds for thermoplastic rubber before reading hardness values).
6. Provides an averaging mode, with configurable test repetition counts.
7. Includes an automatic shutdown function.
8. Comes with PC software featuring a Chinese Windows interface.
9. The PC software supports multiple coordinate curve displays: real-time hardness vs. time, hardness peak vs. test count, and timed hardness vs. test count.
10. The PC software includes a pass/fail judgment function, automatically determining results based on preset standard value ranges.
11. The PC software allows test data and curves to be automatically saved to a computer, with unlimited storage capacity.
12. The PC software supports querying test data and exporting it to Excel format.
13. The PC software can generate and print test reports in user-specified formats.
Working principle
This instrument performs hardness measurements in accordance with the "ASTM D2240" standard. It applies specific pressure to the sample via an indenter, measures physical quantities such as indentation depth or rebound, and converts them into hardness values through internal sensors and processors. The hardness values are displayed in real-time on the LCD screen. When used in conjunction with the host computer software, further data processing, analysis, and storage can be achieved.
