Product Overview
The LD-AO Digital Shore AO Type Hardness Tester, introduced by Sundoo Instruments, is an instrument designed for measuring the hardness of soft plastics, rubber, felt, leather, printing rollers, and other rubber and plastic materials. This device integrates measurement and data processing into one compact unit, offering advantages such as precise measurement, portability, low power consumption, an aesthetically pleasing design, and ease of operation. It is widely used in the chemical industry and research institutions.
Product Features
1. Compact structure and elegant appearance.
2. Accurate measurement.
3. Portable and easy to carry.
4. Low power consumption.
5. Easy to operate.
6. Integrated measurement device and data processing.
Working Principle
This product is a Shore hardness tester, which operates based on the Shore hardness testing method. It characterizes the hardness of a material by measuring the depth to which a specific-shaped indenter penetrates the material under a standardized spring force. The numerical value is collected by sensors within the instrument, processed, and displayed digitally.
Application Area
Chemical industry, scientific research institutions
Operating Steps
1. Place the instrument vertically on the flat surface of the material to be tested.
2. Apply pressure steadily until the indenter makes full contact with and penetrates the sample.
3. Maintain stable pressure, and read the hardness value after the instrument's display stabilizes.
4. Record the measurement result.
Precautions
• Ensure the surface of the sample to be measured is flat and clean before measurement.
• Keep the instrument perpendicular and apply pressure steadily during measurement.
• Avoid measuring on curved, uneven, or overly thin samples to prevent affecting result accuracy.
• Calibrate the instrument regularly to ensure measurement precision.
• Follow the instructions for standardized operation and maintenance.
