Working principle
This gloss meter utilizes dual optical path technology for measurement. It emits a light beam onto the sample surface and receives the reflected light at specific angles (20°, 60°, 85°). The light signal is then converted into an electrical signal, which is processed to derive the gloss value, ensuring measurement accuracy and repeatability.
Operating Steps
1. Power on and select the measurement angle.
2. Calibrate using the standard plate.
3. Align the instrument's measuring aperture with the surface of the sample to be tested.
4. Press the measurement key to take a measurement.
5. Read the data on the screen, or use QC software to store and export reports on the computer.

• Ensure that the surface of the standard plate and the sample to be measured is clean before measurement.
