The TR-204 Portable Multi-Parameter Sludge Detector is a portable testing device launched by Tongao Technology. It is widely used in applications such as surface water and water supply, meeting the needs for real-time, rapid, and convenient detection. The instrument can connect to various sensors, enabling the reading of up to eight parameters simultaneously. It is equipped with a high-capacity 9000mAh rechargeable battery, making it convenient for on-site use.

Working Principle
The instrument operates by connecting various sensors. Its accompanying online sludge concentration sensor is designed and manufactured based on the principle of scattered light measurement. When a beam of light is directed into the water sample, suspended particles in the sample cause the light to scatter. The sensor measures the intensity of the backscattered light and compares it with internal calibration values to calculate the sludge concentration in the water sample. After linearization processing, the final value is output.

Operating Steps
1. Connect the required sensor.
2. Power on and select the parameter to be measured.
3. Immerse the sensor probe into the water sample to be tested.
4. Read and record the measurement results displayed by the instrument.
5. After use, clean the sensor probe and power off the instrument.
Precautions
• Please connect and use the sensor correctly according to the operating instructions.
• Avoid collision of the sensor probe with hard objects when immersing it in water samples.
• Clean the sensor probe promptly after use to keep the optical path clear.
• The instrument and sensor should be stored in a dry and cool place.
• The online sludge concentration sensor supports RS-485 (Modbus RTU) protocol and 4-20 mA current output. Please configure it according to actual needs.
• The online sludge concentration sensor has an IP68 protection rating and can be used in water depths up to 20 meters, but do not exceed its rated depth.
• Sensor calibration should be performed under standard conditions to ensure measurement accuracy.
