Product Overview
The DV-IICPHA Cone-Plate Viscometer from Pingxuan is a precision instrument designed for viscosity measurement of small sample volumes, requiring only 0.5–2.0 mL of sample. It features an advanced CORTEX-A7 core and a LINUX operating system, equipped with a 7-inch color LCD touchscreen. The user interface is intuitive and straightforward, allowing users to quickly set up tests and collect data, while also offering programming capabilities and result analysis functions. Test data can be transferred to a computer, printed via a mini printer, or exported via a USB drive, with support for remote control.

8. Provides precise shear rates for determining sample rheological curves.
9. Test accuracy up to ±1.0%, with temperature control range of 5°C–80°C.
Working Principle
The cone-plate viscometer operates based on the principle of cone-plate rheometry. The instrument drives a conical rotor to rotate on a fixed flat plate (or sample cup), creating a precise narrow gap between the cone and plate to accommodate the sample. As the rotor rotates at a set speed, the sample undergoes shear, and the instrument measures the torque required to maintain this rotation. Based on known geometric parameters (cone angle, gap), rotational speed, and the measured torque, the instrument can accurately calculate rheological parameters of the sample, such as viscosity, shear stress, and shear rate.
