The HTR-5D three-roll mill achieves grinding and dispersion through the horizontal compression of three ceramic roller surfaces against each other, along with the shear force generated by different rotational directions and speed differentials. It is an effective grinding and dispersion equipment for high-viscosity materials. Its processing capacity ranges from a minimum of 0.02 L/hour to a maximum of 5 L/hour. It features stepless speed regulation for flow control, mechanical gap adjustment, touch screen display, easy operation, high stability, and a compact and small structure, making it convenient for use on an experimental bench.
Product Features
1. The ceramic rollers are made of zirconia ceramic powder, offering excellent dimensional stability, resistance to deformation, no black spots, anti-staining properties, easy cleaning, and high wear resistance.
2. A dual-bearing structure is adopted to eliminate factors such as bearing clearance and vibration, thereby improving grinding accuracy and equipment stability.
3. The gap adjustment mechanism uses a single-sided overall adjustment approach, with the gap displayed on a touch screen for convenient operation, stable gap control, and a regulation accuracy of 1μm.
4. The roller gap is adjusted using equidistant knobs, with the rotation angle linearly correlated to the gap, and the roller shaft gap can be displayed on the touch screen.
5. The discharge blade holder is made of aluminum alloy with a special hard oxidation surface treatment, providing corrosion resistance and scratch resistance. The self-adaptive balanced blade holder design ensures better fit performance.
6. The ceramic roller protective cover is made of organic glass to prevent foreign objects from falling into the equipment when idle.
7. Level-adjustable feet facilitate easy leveling, ensuring stable equipment operation across various platform environments and improving grinding performance.
8. Stainless steel drip tray: Prevents corrosion of the machine body due to material falling on it accidentally.
9. Cleaning safety bracket: Prevents cleaning tools from falling into the feed roller during equipment cleaning, avoiding damage to the rollers.

Working Principle
The HTR-5D three-roll mill achieves the grinding and dispersion of high-viscosity materials through the mutual extrusion between the surfaces of three horizontal ceramic rollers and the shear force generated by different rotation directions and speed differences, thereby attaining the grinding effect.

Operating steps
1. Place the device on a stable platform and adjust it to a level state using the leveling feet.
2. Adjust the roller gap as needed using the equidistant knob, and confirm the gap by checking the touchscreen display (adjustment precision: 1μm).
3. Start the device, control the flow via stepless speed regulation, and adjust the speed to the desired range.
4. Add the material to the feed roller area to begin the grinding and dispersing process.
5. Use the discharge blade holder to collect the processed material after grinding.
6. In case of an emergency, press the emergency stop button to halt the device.
Precautions
- When cleaning equipment, use a safety cleaning support to prevent cleaning tools from falling into the feed rollers and causing damage.
- During idle periods, ensure the ceramic roller protective cover is properly closed to prevent foreign objects from entering the equipment.
- Regularly inspect and clean the stainless steel catch tray to prevent material corrosion of the machine body.
- Follow equipment operation specifications to avoid overload or abnormal usage.
- Check the condition of the rollers and blade holder before and after use to ensure proper contact and grinding performance.
