Working principle
This instrument is designed based on the internationally accepted Mullen method. It is controlled by a high-speed ARM processor and utilizes a high-precision pressure sensor along with a 32-bit high-accuracy AD converter to collect force value data. It performs automatic measurement and intelligent determination of the bursting strength of paper or other materials. The instrument can display pressure and deformation curves in real time, and automatically resets, calculates, and prints various statistical results after testing.
Application Fields
Various types of paper, silk, cotton, and other non-paper materials
Compliant with standards
GB/T454 "Paper - Determination of bursting strength" and ISO 2758 "Paper - Determination of bursting strength"
Operating steps
1. Connect the power and turn on the instrument.
2. Switch the language via the Chinese/English menu and set test parameters (e.g., unit selection) as needed.
3. Place the specimen in the test area, ensuring it is firmly secured.
4. Start the test; the instrument will automatically perform a fully automated measurement.
5. After the test is complete, the instrument will automatically display the results, pressure curve, and deformation curve.
6. If printing is required, use the modular thermal printer to print the report.
7. Upon test completion, the instrument automatically resets and prepares for the next test.
Precautions
- Ensure the protective cover (3D bent high-strength acrylic protective cover) is closed before operation.
- Avoid exceeding the measurement range to protect the precision sensors.
- When changing samples, ensure the upper and lower pressure rings are clean.
- When using the burst film function, install the burst film correctly according to the instructions.
- When replacing paper in the thermal printer, use qualified thermal paper.
- Place the instrument in a stable, dry environment and avoid strong vibrations.
- If an abnormal alarm occurs, stop using the instrument immediately and check it.
- Calibrate the sensors regularly to ensure testing accuracy.
