Product Overview
Computer Paper Tube Compression Strength Tester (model YD-ZGK, touch screen version, Yunda brand) is a testing instrument for measuring the compression strength performance of items. It is mainly suitable for testing the compression strength and deformation of various types of industrial paper tubes, chemical fiber paper tubes, small packaging boxes, and other small containers or honeycomb paperboards. It can also be used for testing the ring crush of yarn tube base paper and edge crush of paperboards. It is a reliable testing equipment for paper tube manufacturers, quality inspection institutions, and other relevant departments.
Product Features
1. Equipped with a 5-inch LCD screen display, featuring a bilingual (Chinese/English) menu operating interface, which provides real-time display of test values, force variation curves, and other information during testing.
2. Supports conversion and interchange among three measurement units: N, kgf, and lbf.
3. Controlled by a high-speed, high-precision variable-frequency motor, significantly reducing test time and improving testing efficiency.
4. Offers a robust measurement mode capable of testing paper tube compression, base paper ring crush strength, corrugated edge crush strength, and more.
5. Modern electromechanical integrated design, equipped with a micro thermal printer.
6. High-speed return: Driven by an imported variable-frequency AC motor, the pressure plate can quickly return to the starting position after measurement, enhancing work efficiency.
7. The spacing between pressure plates can be arbitrarily set without the need for limit switches, simply by button adjustment.
8. Uses an imported Japanese thermal printer core, eliminating the need for printing ribbons, reducing failure rates, and enabling high-speed, silent printing.
Working Principle
This instrument applies pressure to the test sample through a platen driven by a variable-frequency motor, detecting and displaying force values and deformation in real time to evaluate the compressive strength performance of the sample. During testing, the instrument automatically records the force variation curve and completes the test according to the set modes (such as paper tube compression, ring crush, edge crush, etc.). The results are ultimately output via a miniature thermal printer.
Application Areas
For various types of industrial paper tubes, chemical fiber paper tubes, small packaging boxes, other small containers, honeycomb paperboard, yarn tube base paper ring crush testing, and paperboard edge crush testing.
Conforms to standards
GB/T 2679.8-1995
Operating Steps
1. Connect the power supply, turn on the instrument switch, and wait for the LCD screen to display normally.
2. Use the bilingual menu interface in Chinese and English to select the desired test mode (e.g., tube crush resistance, ring crush, or edge crush).
3. Set the platen spacing and test parameters (e.g., force unit, test speed) according to the test requirements.
4. Place the sample to be tested in the center of the platen.
5. Start the test; the instrument will automatically apply pressure and display real-time test values along with the force variation curve.
6. After the test is complete, record the results and print the test data via the thermal printer.
7. Once the test is finished, the platen can return to the starting position automatically or manually at high speed, ready for the next test.
Precautions
- Ensure stable power connection and proper grounding of the instrument before use.
- Place the test sample steadily to avoid tilting or shifting that may affect the results.
- When setting the platen spacing, ensure the sample height is within the instrument's allowable range to prevent overload.
- Do not touch moving parts during testing to prevent injury.
- The thermal printer uses thermal paper; avoid exposure to high temperatures or humid environments.
- Regularly clean the instrument and platen surfaces to maintain the equipment in good condition.
- If abnormal vibration or noise occurs, stop the test immediately and inspect the device.
