Product overview
The Paperboard Box Compression Strength Tester (Model YD-ZXK) is a multifunctional standard type quality inspection equipment for paperboard boxes. It is mainly used for the compression strength testing and detection of various medium-sized conventional corrugated paperboard boxes or other packaging containers made of different materials, with a compression strength of less than 30 KN. This instrument features high control precision and advanced technology, offering functions such as parameter testing, display, memory, statistics, printing, and real-time compression curve display, as defined in relevant standards. It also includes functions for data processing, automatic reset, and fault diagnosis, making it easy to operate.
Product Features
1. High control precision, advanced development technology, and excellent cost performance.
2. Features parameter testing, display, memory, statistics, printing, and real-time display of compression curves.
3. Equipped with data processing capabilities to directly obtain statistical results from various data.
4. Includes automatic reset and fault diagnosis functions for easy operation.
5. Offers three standard working modes: strength test, fixed value test, and stack test.
Working Principle
The instrument measures the compressive strength and displacement of a carton or packaging container by applying pressure. In strength test mode, it measures the maximum compressive force and displacement of the container. In fixed-value test mode, it assesses the overall performance of the container based on the set pressure and displacement. In stacking test mode, stacking tests are conducted under various conditions as specified by national standards. All data is displayed, recorded in real time, and can be printed out.
Application Field
Testing and experimentation of compress resistance for packaging containers such as food and beverage instant noodle packaging, cosmetic packaging, beer packaging, grain and oil packaging, and others.
Compliant with standards
GB/T 4857.4-92、GB/T 4857.3-92
Operating steps
1. Turn on the power and start the instrument.
2. Select the standard working mode as needed: strength test, fixed-value test, or stacking test.
3. Set relevant parameters (e.g., pressure value, displacement, test duration).
4. Place the carton or packaging container on the test platform.
5. Start the test; the instrument automatically applies pressure and records data.
6. After the test is completed, view the displayed parameter results or print them out.
7. If a repeat test is required, wait for the instrument to automatically reset before proceeding with the next operation.
Precautions
- Ensure the instrument is placed steadily before use and check that the power connection is normal.
- During the test, ensure that the cardboard box or packaging container is positioned centrally to avoid uneven load.
- The set test parameters should comply with the specifications and standard requirements of the sample under test.
- Do not touch any moving parts during the test to prevent injury.
- Regularly clean and calibrate the instrument to ensure testing accuracy.
- When the fault diagnostic function indicates an abnormality, immediately stop operation and troubleshoot the issue.
- If not in use for an extended period, turn off the power and store it properly.
- This instrument is only applicable to packaging containers with a compressive strength of less than 30KN; exceeding this range may cause equipment damage.
- Operators should be familiar with the instrument's instructions; unauthorized personnel must not disassemble or repair the instrument.
