HuiNuo KTQ Series Adjustable Film Applicator is a new generation of drawdown blade removable film applicator developed. It adopts magnetic drawdown blade design and Spreader width adjustable function to solve the cleaning problem when scraping high viscosity and easy curing materials, and can flexibly adapt to different sizes of substrates.

1. Magnetic suction removable drawdown blade structure, more convenient to clean. 2. Film thickness adjustment with precision of green amount differential head (scale, digital display optional). 3. Drawdown blade high hardness die steel material, hard aluminum oxide rack, lightweight and wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant. 4. Adjustable film thickness range 0~ 5000μm. 5. Drawdown blade accuracy +/- 2μm to 5μm (depending on the specific model). 6. Spreader width adjustable: maximum Spreader width 200mm, can be flexibly adapted to different sizes of substrates.
Working Principle
Applicator based on the principle of differential gap scraping, through the magnetic suction drawdown blade with the frame, adjusting the differential head controls the gap between the drawdown blade and the substrate, to achieve accurate adjustment of wet film thickness.

Operation steps
1. Select the drawdown blade and substrate size of the appropriate width according to the needs. 2. Adjust the required film thickness through the differential head. 3. Fix the substrate on the working surface of the Applicator. 4. Put the magnetic drawdown blade adsorption on the rack to ensure that the drawdown blade is in good contact with the substrate. 5. Manually move the drawdown blade at a uniform speed for Spreader. 6. After the Spreader is completed, remove the drawdown blade for cleaning.
Precautions
- Make sure drawdown blade and substrate surfaces are clean before use.
- Gently operate the differential head when adjusting the film thickness to avoid excessive swirling/spinning.
- Keep the drawdown blade moving smoothly during the Spreader process to avoid pauses.
- Remove the drawdown blade for cleaning in time after use to avoid material curing.
- Applicator drying during storage to avoid corrosion.
- Digital display models need to pay attention to battery maintenance and calibrating.
- Check drawdown blade accuracy before each use and recalibrate if necessary.
