Overview
AMITTARI AWM-116 whiteness meter is an instrument for direct measurement of the whiteness value of flat objects or powders. It uses the formula of blue light whiteness R457, which complies with many national standards and is suitable for whiteness detection in many industries.

Principle
The instrument uses a 457nm long-life LED Illuminant, which meets the requirements of JJG 512-2002 National Measurement verification regulations. Its measurement is based on the principle of photoelectric effect: Photocell, photovoltaic cell receives the radiant luminance energy value of the diffuse reflection on the surface of the sample, amplified by the High Accuracy automatic zero stabilization operational amplifier, inputs the calibrating circuit to calibrate the energy value, and finally the whiteness value of the sample is directly displayed by the digital display.
