Overview
The TQC VF2090 immersion ISO viscosity cup is a Handheld viscosity testing tool imported from the Netherlands for viscosity measurement of coatings, paints and other products. The product is designed according to DIN EN ISO 2431 and is made of aluminum alloy with a 3mm filter diameter. It is suitable for rapid viscosity assessment in laboratory environments.
Features
1. Strictly follow DIN EN ISO 2431 standard design
2. Made of aluminum alloy, durable and lightweight
3. Unique serial number engraving to ensure traceability of product mass
4. Handheld immersion design, easy to operate
5. A variety of filter diameters are available, covering different viscosity ranges
Principle
The ISO viscosity cup calculates viscosity by measuring the time the liquid flows out of the orifice at the bottom of the cup. During the test, the liquid flows out under the action of gravity, recording the time from the lifting of the cup to the first stop of the flow, and then converting the time to dynamic viscosity units by converting the disc to achieve rapid viscosity classification.
Applications
Coatings, paints, inks, pigments
Standards
DIN EN ISO 2431
Steps
1. Ensure that the temperature of the liquid to be tested is stable at 23 +/- 0.2 ° C
2. Adjust the liquid temperature as required
3. Choose the appropriate viscosity cup model according to the estimated viscosity range
4. Slowly immerse the viscosity cup in the liquid until the top edge is submerged
5. Put in the thermometer to measure the sample temperature
6. Remove thermometer
7. Hook your finger on the handle ring and lift the cup vertically, start timing at the same time, and keep the cup within 15cm of the liquid level
8. Stop timing when the flow stops for the first time
Notice
• Temperature fluctuations during testing must not exceed +/- 0.2 ° C
When lifting the cup, keep it vertical and stable
• During the timing period, the cup should be kept within 15cm of the liquid level
• Only for Newtonian or near newtonian fluids
• Before use, confirm that the filter diameter matches the viscosity range
