Overview
QML type coating shakeout Wear resistance tester is a JINGKELIAN brand product, which is mainly used for the determination of Abrasion Resistance of fluorocarbon paint film coated on aluminum alloy building profile substrate, and can also be used to determine the Abrasion Resistance of Paints, varnish, spray paint and related products by shakeout method. The instrument is designed and manufactured according to GB/T5237.5-2000 standard, and is suitable for testing under room temperature, relative humidity not more than 80% and sheltered environment conditions.

Principle
The instrument initializes the paint film on the surface of the sample until the substrate with a diameter of 4mm is ground through the standard sand falling freely from the duct from the specified height. Abrasion Resistance of coatings is determined by the volume (L) of Abrasive material used in the paint layer per abrasion thickness, which is suitable for fluorocarbon paint films and Miscellaneous related coatings.

Steps
1. Prepare the test at room temperature, relative humidity not more than 80% and in a sheltered environment; 2. Load the standard sand into the hopper; 3. The sand freely falls from the specified height through the conduit to initialize the surface paint film of the sample; 4. Continue to initialize until the surface of the sample is exposed. Substrate with a diameter of 4mm; 5. Record the volume of the Abrasive material used for the abrasion unit thickness paint layer.
Notice
• The test should be carried out at room temperature and relative humidity not more than 80% of the environment; • Pay attention to the wind during the test; • Ensure that the inner diameter of the catheter is 19mm, the length of the catheter is 914mm, the funnel angle is 60 °, and the sample rack angle is 45 °; • Strictly follow the standard operation to avoid errors.
