Overview
The TQC Wet Film Wheel VF2255 is a wet film thickness measurement tool designed according to ISO 2808-74 standards. The scale rolling of the wheel-rail eccentric wheel is used to obtain the wet film thickness, expressed in μm. The Thickness gauge is suitable for measuring the Coating wet film thickness. It can measure the coating thickness of various Coating wet-films such as Paints and varnish. High Accuracy measurement can be performed not only on flat substrates but also on curved substrates.

Principle
The Wet Film Wheel measures wet film thickness by scaling the wheel-rail eccentric wheel. During measurement, the wheel rolls over the wet-film and touches the substrate. The wet film thickness is determined by observing the scale reading at the end of the wet part of the center wheel.

Steps
1. Grip the center axis of the wet film thickness measurement wheel and start the measurement from the largest film thickness scale value
2. Let the wheel roll over the wet-film, the wheel should touch the substrate, roll forward and backward at least once, and the rolling process should be slow enough to make the wheel fully contact with the coating
3. When used on a pipeline, measure the entire longitudinal axis of the pipeline
4, for the hard plane, the peak value of the measurement surface, indicating the minimum wet film thickness
Notice
• Coating on the test plate should be measured as soon as possible after the wet film thickness, in order to reduce the phenomenon of film thinning caused by solvent volatilization
• The wet film thickness measurement wheel is a precision tool, do not drop or knock
• Wash immediately after use
• Machinery such as wire brush or sandpaper should be cleaned with a soft rag, and corrosion cleaners should be avoided
• Put in the box when not in use
