Overview
JINGKELIAN QXP 0-100um single-channe Grindometer is a single groove stainless steel Grindometer. The Basis Weight range is 0 to 100 microns, but JINGKELIAN manufacturers recommend practical application of 40 to 90 microns, so that the detected fineness value will be more accurate. The QXP 0-100um single-channe Grindometer has a chute width of 12.5mm and is equipped with a stainless steel drawdown blade. ISO Grindometer is made in strict accordance with GB/T 1724, GB/T 6753.1, ISO1524 and other standards. It is used to determine the size and dispersion of pigments and impurity particles in coatings, lacquers, inks and other liquids and slurries, so as to control the mass of the dispersed product in production, storage and application.
Features
1. Single-channe design, the number of grooves is 1
2. Basis Weight range 0~ 100 microns, recommended range 40~ 90 microns to improve detection accuracy
3. Stainless steel scraper and drawdown blade, strong durability
4. The width of the chute is 12.5mm, and the effective size of the groove is 140mm long × 12.5mm wide.
5. Dimension length 175mm × width 65mm × thickness 13mm, compact structure
Principle
Pour a little more sample into the deeper end of the groove, scrape the sample towards the shallower end of the groove with the straight edge of the drawdown blade provided, and see the position of many rough particles on the surface of the Fineness Gauge is the corresponding test point. Determine the size and dispersion of pigment and impurity particles by observing the particle distribution.
Applications
Paints, plastics, pigments, Printing inks, paper, ceramics, food
Standards
GB/T 1724、GB/T6753.1、ISO1524
Steps
1. Pour a little more sample into the deeper end of the groove
2. Scrape the sample toward the shallower end of the groove with the straight edge of the provided drawdown blade
3. Observe the position of rough particles on the surface of Fineness Gauge and determine the corresponding test point
Notice
It is recommended to use the 40-90 micron range in practical applications to obtain more accurate test results
• Make sure the sample volume is slightly more than the groove capacity
• Keep the straight edge of the drawdown blade parallel to the groove during the scraping operation
• Clean the scraper and drawdown blade in time after use to avoid sample residue
