Overview
Kedian MC-3000C Coating thickness gauge is an instrument for nondestructive measurement of nonmagnetic Coating thickness on the surface of ferromagnetic materials (such as steel). It can measure the thickness of zinc, copper, chromium, paints, enamel, frp, rubber, spray, asphalt and other platings. The new alloy Probe processed with unique deviation automatic tracking technology and German process standards improves the accuracy of measurement and the service life of Probe.

Principle
The instrument uses the principle of magnetic Induction for measurement. When the Probe is close to the nonmagnetic coating on the surface of the ferromagnetic material, the thickness of the coating is calculated by detecting the change of Magnetic flux.

Steps
1. According to the measurement needs, select Normal, MIN Minimum or Statistical Measurement mode.
2. If you need to monitor, enter the monitoring mode and set the difference and alarm upper and lower limits.
3. Place Probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested for measurement.
4. The measurement data can be stored manually, and the instrument supports group storage (a total of 6 groups, each group of 100 points).
5. Individual, grouped or all stored data can be viewed and deleted by pressing the instrument buttons.
6. When necessary, you can connect the printer to print and store values or statistical values.
7. Before use, zero, two points or system calibration can be carried out as needed.
8. Through the settings menu, options such as shutdown mode and backlight can be adjusted.
Notice
• This instrument is suitable for measurement of nonmagnetic Coating thickness on ferromagnetic materials.
• Make sure that the Probe is in vertical contact with the coating surface during measurement to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Ambient Temperature 0~ 40 ℃, relative humidity ≤ 90% RH, please use in the specified environment.
• Please calibrate regularly to ensure the accuracy of measurement data.
• Pay attention to the battery level prompt and replace the battery in time to ensure normal use.
• Although the instrument keyboard has waterproof and oil-proof characteristics, it is still necessary to avoid long-term immersion or contact with corrosive liquids.
When storing data, please pay attention to group management to avoid data confusion.
