Overview
The MC-3000F magnetic platings thickness gauge is an instrument produced by KODIN for the measurement of the thickness of nonmagnetic platings on magnetic metal substrates. It uses a unique deviation automatic tracking technology to improve the Measurement accuracy. Probe processes and uses new alloy materials according to German process standards, thus significantly improving the service life and measurement accuracy of Probe. The instrument can easily and nondestructive measurement of zinc, copper, chromium and other platings on the surface of ferromagnetic materials such as steel, or paints, enamels, frp, spraying, asphalt and other platings thickness.
Features
1. Provide three basic Measurement modes: Regular Mode, MIN Minimum Mode and Statistical Mode.
2. Measurement mode supports difference setting and upper and lower limit alarm setting.
3. Flexible data management, with options to delete individual stored data, a group of data, or clear all data.
4. Support zero-point calibrating, two-point calibrating and system calibrating.
5. The shutdown mode and backlight switch can be set, and the factory state can be restored.
6. Equipped with printing function, it can print stored values or statistical values.
7, with packet storage capacity, a total of 6 groups, each group can store 99 measurement points.
8. Measured values can be viewed in groups.
Principle
The MC-3000F platings thickness gauge uses the principle of magnetic Induction for measurement. When the instrument Probe is close to the measured sample, a magnetic flux is generated between the magnet in the Probe and the magnetic metal matrix. The presence of nonmagnetic platings changes the magnetic flux path, and the instrument can calculate the thickness of the platings by detecting the change of this magnetic flux.
Applications
Machinery, Automobile, Shipbuilding, Petroleum, Chemical, Eletroplating, Spray, Enamel, Plastic
Steps
1. According to the measurement requirements, select the appropriate Measurement mode (Normal, MIN Minimum or Statistical Mode).
2. If you need to monitor, enter the Monitoring Measurement mode and set the difference and the upper and lower limit alarm values.
3, according to the measurement requirements, zero point calibrating, two point calibrating or system calibrating.
4. Place the Probe vertically on the surface of the platings to be measured for measurement.
5, measurement data can be automatically grouped storage (a total of 6 groups, each group 99 points), and can be viewed in groups.
6. Storage data can be managed, such as deleting individual, group, or all data.
7. The stored value or statistical value can be output through the instrument printing function.
8. After use, you can shut down automatically or manually according to the settings.
Notice
• This instrument is dedicated to the measurement of the thickness of nonmagnetic platings on magnetic metal substrates.
• Make sure that the Probe is perpendicular to the measured surface during measurement to obtain accurate readings.
• Measurement accuracy, calibrate regularly or when Measurement conditions change.
• The instrument supports grouped storage, please pay attention to data management to avoid accidental deletion.
• When using the monitoring mode, set the difference and alarm upper and lower limits reasonably.
• You can keep abreast of the battery status through the battery voltage icon in the upper left corner of the display screen.
• The instrument weight is 260g, Dimension 146 * 81 * 30mm, please keep it properly.
