Overview
Kedian DJ-6-A Holiday Detector is a special instrument for detecting metal anti-corrosion coating mass. The instrument can mass detect coatings of different thicknesses such as Glass-lined, FRP, epoxy coal asphalt and rubber lining. When the anti-corrosion layer has defects such as pinholing, bubbles and cracks, the instrument will emit bright sparks and sound alarms. The instrument is powered by batteries, which is especially suitable for field operations. The design is professional, stable and reliable.

The detection thickness range is wide, from 0.03 to 1mm (or can be customized according to customer requirements).

Principle
The Working Principle of the spark detector is to apply a certain amount of pulsed high voltage to the surface of the anti-corrosion layer of the conductive substrate. If the anti-corrosion layer has defects such as too thin, metal leakage or air leakage pinholing, when the pulsed high voltage passes through these defect points, air gap breakdown will be formed, resulting in spark discharge. At the same time, the discharge signal will trigger the alarm circuit, so that the alarm will issue a sound alarm, so as to realize the detection of the mass of the anti-corrosion layer.
